[15].Surah Al-Hjir [The Rocky Tract]: Ayat 3

Ayat 3. Leave them to eat and enjoy, and let them be preoccupied with (false) hope. They will come to know! Ayat 4. And never did We destroy a township but there was a known decree for it.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Remember more often the destroyer of pleasures - death.''
[At-Tirmidhi Hadith # 2307].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Hjir Ayat 04. "let them be preoccupied with (false) hope" Being heedful and talking about death checks man from being lost in the worldly pleasures and seductions. We are, therefore, supposed to remember death frequently and to avoid remaining indifferent to post-death affairs and occurrences

[15].Surah Al-Hjir [The Rocky Tract]: Ayat 1-2

Ayat 1. Alif-Lâm-Râ. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. These are the Verses of the Book, and a plain Qur'an.
Ayat 2. Perhaps (often) will those who disbelieve wish that they were Muslims [those who have submitted themselves to Allah's Will in Islam Islamic Monotheism, this will be on the Day of Resurrection when they will see the disbelievers going to Hell and the Muslims going to Paradise].

Hazrat Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Read the Qur'an regularly. By the One in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is, it escapes from memory faster than a camel does from its tying ropes.''
[Al-Bukhari Book # 6 Chapter # 61 Hadith # 552].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Hjir Ayat 01. "These are the Verses of the Book, and a plain Qur'an," To safeguard the Qur'an means to recite it regularly, because if one fails to do so, he tends to forget it quickly. In the absence of regular recitation, one is bound to forget it more quickly than a camel breaks loose bound with. The breaking loose by the camel to liberate itself is a simile for the quick process of forgetting.

[14].Surah Ibrahim {A.S} [Abraham (PBUH)]: Ayat 52

Ayat 52. This (Qur'an) is a Message for mankind (and a clear proof against them), in order that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is the only One Ilâh (God - Allah) - (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah), and that men of understanding may take heed.

Hazrat Uthman bin `Affan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah   [SAWW](PBUH) said, "The best amongst you is the one who learns the Qur'an and teaches it.''
[Al-Bukhari Vol.6, Chapter 61, Hadith # 545].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Ibrahim {A.S} Ayat 52. "This (Qur'an) is a Message for mankind" This Hadith tells us excellence of people who learn Quran and then spend there time teaching to others. Only such people will be elevated who act upon the teachings of the Qur'an and abstain from what is forbidden by Allah. The Muslims of the early centuries of Islam were blessed with great honour by Allah because they loved and applied the Qur'an. Because of there meaningful attachment with the Qur'an, they made great achievements in religious and worldly spheres. Those who neglected the teachings of Quran & Islam will be disgraced and humiliated. May Allah guide and enable us to re-establish our contact with the Qur'an so that we can regain our past glory.

[14].Surah Ibrahim {A.S} [Abraham (PBUH)]: Ayat 50-51

Ayat 50. Their garments will be of pitch, and fire will cover their faces.
Ayat 51. That Allah may requite each person according to what he has earned. Truly, Allah is Swift at reckoning.
Hazrat Nu`man bin Bashir (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) said, "The least tortured man on the Day of Resurrection is one underneath whose feet will be placed two live coal, and his brain will be boiling, and he would think that he is the most tortured, while he is the least tortured",
[Al-Bukhari Vol.8, Chapter 76, Hadith # 566].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Ibrahim {A.S} Ayat 50. "and fire will cover their faces". According to the narration in Muslim, the straps of shoes to be worn by the inhabitants of Hell would be of fire which will make their brains boil like a cooker placed on oven.

[14].Surah Ibrahim {A.S} [Abraham (PBUH)]: Ayat 48-49

Ayat 48. On the Day when the earth will be changed to another earth and so will be the heavens, and they (all creatures) will appear before Allah, the One, the Irresistible.
Ayat 49. And you will see the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism, polytheists, disobedient to Allah, etc.) that Day bound together in fetters; [Muqarranûn in fetters; mean:- with their hands and feet tied to their necks with chains.]

Hazrat Abdullah bin `Umar (May allah be pleased with them) reported: Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) took hold of my shoulders and said, "Be in the world like a stranger or a wayfarer".
Hazrat Ibn `Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) used to say: "When you survive till the evening, do not expect to live until the morning; and when you survive until the morning, do not expect to live until the evening; (do good deeds) when you are in good health before you fall sick, and (do good deeds) as long as you are alive before death strikes".
[Al-Bukhari Volume 8, Book 76, Hadith # 425].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Ibrahim {A.S} Ayat 48. "they (all creatures) will appear before Allah" A person who will consider this world as a temporary stage, will certainly not like that his clothes be entangled in thorny bushes of this world. The greatest fault of man is that he does not understand this status of the world. In spite of the fact that he is not sure of a moment's life here, he occupies himself in amassing goods and riches which would last for a hundred years.

[14].Surah Ibrahim {A.S} [Abraham (PBUH)]: Ayat 46-47

Ayat 46. Indeed, they planned their plot, and their plot was with Allah, though their plot was a great (one, still) it would never be able to remove the mountains (real mountains or the Islamic law) from their places (as it is of no importance). [It is said by some interpreters regarding this Verse that the Quraish pagans plotted against Prophet Muhammad [SAWW](PBUH) to kill him but they failed and were unable to carry out their plot which they plotted].
Ayat 47. So think not that Allah will fail to keep His Promise to His Messengers. Certainly, Allah is All-Mighty, - All-Able of Retribution.

Hazrat Imran bin Husain (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) taught my father two statements to recite in his Du`a. These are: "Allahumma al-himni rushdi, wa a`idhni min sharri nafsi (O Allah! Inspire in me guidance and deliver me from the evils within myself).''
[At-Tirmidhi Hadith # 3483].
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Ibrahim {A.S} Ayat 46. "they planned their plot," "Al-Hidayah'' (guidance) means the ability to do good deeds. It is an indication of the right course for every action. "Deliver me from the evils within myself'' refers to the desires of the baser self which ruin both the worldly and religious life.
