[17].Surah Al-Isra' [The Journey By Night]: Ayat 11-12

also known as Surah Bani Israel [The Children of Israel]
Ayat 11. And man invokes (Allah) for evil as he invokes (Allah) for good and man is ever hasty [i.e., if he is angry with somebody, he invokes (saying): "O Allah! Curse him, etc." and that one should not do, but one should be patient].
Ayat 12. And We have appointed the night and the day as two Ayat (signs etc.). Then, We have made dark the sign of the night while We have made the sign of day illuminating, that you may seek bounty from your Lord, and that you may know the number of the years and the reckoning. And We have explained everything (in detail) with full explanation.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Remember more often the destroyer of pleasures - death.''
[At-Tirmidhi, Hadith # 2307].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Isra Ayat 011."And man invokes (Allah) for evil as he invokes (Allah) for good" Being heedful and talking about death checks man from being lost in the worldly pleasures and seductions. We are, therefore, supposed to remember death frequently and to avoid remaining indifferent to post-death affairs and occurrences.
