[16].Surah An-Nahl [The Bees] : Ayat 124

Ayat 124. The Sabbath (Saturday) was only prescribed for those who differed concerning it, and verily, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection about that wherein they used to differ.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) said, "We (Muslims) are the last (to come) but (will be) the foremost on the Day of Resurrection though the former nations were given the Holy Scriptures before us. And this was their day (Friday) the celebration of which was made compulsory for them but they differed about it. So Allah gave us the guidance for it (Friday) and all the other people are behind us in this respect: the Jews' (holy day is) tomorrow (i.e. Saturday) and the Christians' (is) the day after tomorrow (i.e. Sunday)."

[Al-Bukhari 02, Chapter 13, Hadith # 001].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah An-Nahl Ayat 124."The Sabbath (Saturday) was only prescribed for those who differed concerning it", The Jews and Christians are the people upon whom came the Wrath of Allah because they use there tongues put forth falsely: "This is lawful and this is forbidden," so as to invent lies against Allah. Verily, those  who invent lies against Allah will never prosper. Has not the time come for the hearts of those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) to be affected by Allah's Reminder (this Qur'an), and that which has been revealed of the truth, lest they become as those who received the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] before (i.e., Jews and Christians), and the term was prolonged for them and so their hearts were hardened?''
