[36].Surah Yaseen [Yaseen]: Ayat 11

Ayat 11. You (O Muhammad image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Qur’an and Sunnah), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you (O Muhammadimage001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise).

Tafseer of Surah Yaseen, Ayat 11. Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. Cf. 35:18. As far as those are concerned, who have obstinately delivered themselves to evil, the preaching of Allah's Message has no appeal, because their own will shuts them out. But there are others who are anxious to hear Allah's Message and receive Allah's grace. They love Allah and fear to offend against His Holy Law, and their fear is not merely superficial but deep-seated: for while they do not yet see Allah, nor do other people see them, they have the same sense of Allah's presence as if they saw Him, and their religion is not a mere pose, 'to be seen of men'. See 35:18. Unseen is here adverbial: their reverence for Allah is unaffected by the fact that they do not see him, or that other people do not observe them, because their attitude arises out of a genuine love for Allah. To such persons the Messenger of Allah comes as a gospel or good news: because it shows them the way of forgiveness for anything wrong in their past, and it gives them the promise of a full reward in the future-generous beyond any deserts of their own, but arising out of Allah's unbounded Bounty.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Masud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Never a Prophet had been sent before me by Allah to his people but he had, among his people, (his) disciples and companions, who followed his ways and obeyed his command. Then there came after them their successors who proclaimed what they did not practice, and practiced what they were not commanded to do. And (he) who strove against them with his hand is a believer; he who strove against them with his heart is a believer; and he who strove against them with his tongue is a believer; and beyond that there is no grain of Faith". [Muslim Book 01, Chapter 21, Hadith # 081]

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Yaseen Ayat 11. You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Qur’an and Sunnah), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah)” This Hadith contains a very important prescription to prevent the Muslim society from all things which are forbidden in Islam. So long as Muslims adhered to it and ceaselessly and fearlessly performed their obligation of enjoining the right and forbidding the wrong, their society was largely safe from many evils and sins.

[36].Surah Yaseen [Yaseen]: Ayat 09-10

Ayat 9. And Allah have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so that they cannot see.
Ayat 10. It is the same to them whether you (O Muhammad image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe.

Tafseer of Surah Yaseen, Ayat 9 and 10. And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. Their retreat is cut off and their progress is impossible. Further the Light that should come from above is cut off, so that they become totally devoid of any hope, and the last gleam of any spiritual understanding is extinguished in them.Ayat 10. The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. When the stage just described is reached, revelation or spiritual teaching ceases to have any value for them. Why then preach? The answer is given in the verses following.

Hazrat Abdullah bin `Amr bin Al-Aas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allahimage001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Verily, Allah does not take away knowledge by snatching it from the people, but He takes it away by taking away (the lives of) the religious scholars till none of the scholars stays alive. Then the people will take ignorant ones as their leaders, who, when asked to deliver religious verdicts, will issue them without knowledge, the result being that they will go astray and will lead others astray.'' [Al-Bukhari Book 01, Chapter 03, Hadith # 100]

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Yaseen Ayat 10. It is the same to them whether you (O Muhammad image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. It is a sign of the nearness of the Day of Judgment that the world will be deprived of genuine religious scholars, and illiterate people will become leaders who will have neither the knowledge of the Qur'an nor that of the Hadith. Despite their ignorance of the Qur'an and the Hadith, they will be called Mujtahid (jurist entitled to independent reasoning) and Imam (leader) and will mislead people with their legal opinions and self-created problems. Besides urging us to acquire religious knowledge with a view to producing more scholars in the society, this Hadith also warns us against the ignorant self-styled `Ulama'. It also warns us against entrusting religious leadership to them.

[36].Surah Yaseen [Yaseen]: Ayat 07-08

Ayat 7. Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe.
Ayat 8. Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up.

Tafseer of Surah Yaseen, Ayat 7 and 8. The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. Cf. 7:30 , and 17:16. If people deliberately and obstinately refuse "to believe", i.e., to receive guidance and admonition, the result must be that Allah's grace and mercy are withdrawn from them. Their own perversity inevitably blocks up all channels for their correction. Ayat 8. We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see). Man's misdeeds inevitably call forth the operation of Allah's Law, and therefore the result is in Quranic language attributed to Allah. The result of man's willful disobedience is now described in a series of metaphors. (1) Refusal of Allah's Light means less and less freedom of action for man: the yoke of sin is fastened round man's neck, and it gets more and more tightened, right up to the chin. (2) The head is forced up and kept in a stiff position, so that the mind becomes befogged. Moral obliquity taints the intellect. According to the Sanskrit proverb, "When destruction comes near, understanding is turned upside down." According to the Latin proverb, "Whom God wishes to destroy, He first makes demented." In other words, iniquity not only is folly, but leads deeper and deeper into folly, narrowness of vision, and blindness to the finer things of life. (3) This state of deprivation of Grace leads to such a decline in spiritual vitality that the victim can neither progress nor turn back, as explained in the next verse.

Hazrat Ubadah bin As-Samit (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: We swore allegiance to Messenger of Allah image001.jpg SAWW (PBUH) to hear and obey; in time of difficulty and in prosperity, in hardship and in ease, to endure being discriminated against and not to dispute about rule with those in power, except in case of evident infidelity regarding which there is a proof from Allah. We swore allegiance to Messenger of Allah image001.jpg  SAWW (PBUH) to say what was right wherever we were, and not to fear from anyone's reproached.
[Muslim Volume 020, Book 08, Hadith # 4541].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Yaseen Ayat 7. Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe” It has been emphasized in this Hadith that even if a Muslim ruler is sinful and cruel, one should not disobey him unless he orders to go against the Divine injunctions. In that case, such rulers should not be obeyed. Similarly, it is not permissible to revolt against them until they commit clear-cut infidelity because there is a greater danger of loss in revolt and rebellion. It should be noted once and for all that the expressions of truth and compliance with religious injunctions have top priority on all occasions. This should be done regardless of what people say on this account.

[36].Surah Yaseen [Yaseen]: Ayat 01-06

Ayat 1. Yaseen. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur’an, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.]
Ayat 2. By the Qur’an, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs),
Ayat 3. Truly, you (O Muhammad image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) are one of the Messengers,
Ayat 4. On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allah’s religion of Islamic Monotheism).
Ayat 5. (This is) a Revelation sent down by the All Mighty, the Most Merciful,
Ayat 6. In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless.

Tafseer of Surah Ya-Seen, Ayat 1 to 6. Yaseen. Some Commentators take Ya to be the vocative article, and Sin to be the abbreviation of Insan, Sin being the only "Firm Letter" in the word. In that case it would be an address to man. "O man!" But "man" in this connection is understood to mean the Leader of man, the noblest of mankind, Muhammad, the Prophet of Allah. For this Surah deals mainly with the Prophet and his Message. But no dogmatic assertion can be made about the Abbreviated Letters, for which see Appendix I, following S. 2. Ya Seen is usually treated as a title of the Prophet. Ayat 2. By the Qur´an, full of Wisdom,-The best credentials of the Prophet are: (I) the revelation which he brought ("the Qur'an"), and the heroic unselfish life which he led ("on a Straight Way "). The appeal is therefore made on the testimony of these two facts. Ayat 3. Thou art indeed one of the messengers, Ayat 4. On a Straight Way. Ayat 5. It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. The Revelation again is characterized by two attributes which we find most helpful in contemplating about Allah. It has force and power: for Allah is Exalted in Might and able to enforce His Will. And it brings a Message of hope and mercy; for Allah is Most Merciful. By its characteristics we know that the Qur'an is from Allah. Ayat 6. In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah. Quraysh had received no Prophet before, and therefore one of themselves was made the vehicle for the universal Message to the whole world. See C. 12-15.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: When this Verse was revealed: "And warn your tribe (O Muhammad image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) of near kindred". (26:214) Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) called the Quraysh; when they gathered, he said to them: "O sons of `Abd Shams; O sons of Kaab bin Lu'ai, rescue yourselves from the Fire! O sons of Murrah bin Kaab, rescue yourselves from the Fire! O sons of `Abd Manaf, rescue yourselves from the Fire! O sons of `Abdul-Muttalib, rescue yourselves from the Fire! O Fatimah, rescue yourself from the Fire, for I have no power (to protect you) from Allah in anything except that I would sustain relationship with you". [Muslim Book 01, Chapter 87, Hadith # 399].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Yaseen Ayat 06. In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless” 1. This Hadith tells us that lineage in the Hereafter will not help anybody. So much so that even one's relationship with Messenger of Allah (PBUH) shall not carry any weight on that day. The only thing that will then help in salvation will be one's good deeds. People for whom the Prophet (PBUH) and pious men will intercede will be believers with some sins in their account and not the disbelievers devoid of Faith and good actions. Neither will anybody intercede for the infidels, nor will the infidels find salvation. 2. In preaching religion, priority must be given to one's own close relatives. They deserve it more than anyone else, and for this reason Divine injunction should be first of all conveyed to them. 3. Even if a Muslim's relatives are pagans and polytheists, their rights of kinsmen and the demands of "maintaining the ties of kinship'' enjoined by Islam must be fulfilled. The first and foremost demand of their rights is that they should be invited to the right path so that they will be saved from Hell-fire.

[35].Surah Fatir [The Originator of Creation]: Ayat 45

Ayat 45. And if Allah were to punish men for that which they earned, He would not leave a moving (living) creature on the surface of the earth, but He gives them respite to an appointed term, and when their term comes, then verily, Allah is Ever Allseed of His servants.

Tafseer of Surah Fatir Ayat 45. If Allah were to punish men according to what they deserve. He would not leave on the back of the (earth) a single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated Term: when their Term expires, verily Allah has in His sight all His Servants. Cf. 16:61. There would be no salvation for any of us if we went merely on our deserts. It is Allah's mercy that saves us and helps us to a better and better life until we attain the goal of our existence. A single living creature. This may refer to man, the living crawling creature, with so many possibilities and yet so many weaknesses. But it may mean all creatures literally, as the life of this planet more or less centers round the life of man. He has been given dominion on this earth, and in his state of purity he is Allah's vicegerent. Has in His sight all creatures: i.e., to deal with, according to His Laws of Forbearance, Mercy and Justice: The respite does not mean that any one escapes His vigilant eye. All will be dealt with according to their deeds, with justice tempered with mercy.
Hazrat Abu Umamah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allahimage001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Allah decrees the (Hell) Fire and debars Jannah for the one who usurps the rights of a believer by taking a false oath.'' One man asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Even if it should be for an insignificant thing?'' He said, "Even if it be a stick of the Ark tree (i.e., the tree from which Miswak sticks are taken)". [Muslim Chapter 62, Book 001, Hadith Number 252].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Fatir Ayat 45. And if Allah were to punish men for that which they earned, He would not leave a moving (living) creature on the surface of the earth, but He gives them respite to an appointed term” The importance of rights of people is evident from the threat of severe punishment that this Hadith holds for the usurpers of these rights. Their case will depend entirely on the Will of Allah. Such defaulters may be forgiven even in the initial stage or they may be pardoned by Allah after some punishment.

[35].Surah Fatir [The Originator of Creation]: Ayat 44

Ayat 44. Have they (Pagans of Makkah) not travelled in the land, and seen what was the end of those before them, and they were superior to them in power? Allah is not such that anything in the heavens or in the earth escapes Him. Verily, He is All Knowing, All Omnipotent.

Tafseer of Surah Fatir Ayat 44. Do they not travel through the earth, and see what the End of those before them was, - though they were superior to them in strength? Nor is Allah to be frustrated by anything whatever in the heavens or on earth: for He is All-Knowing. All-Powerful. Cf. 30:9 and 40:21. If no other argument will convince men who follow evil, let them travel through space or time, and learn from the experience of others. Evil always came to an evil end. Let not any one individual or generation think that it could escape by some special trick or power. Far wiser and more powerful men were personally brought to account for their iniquities.

Hazrat Ibn Umer (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: when Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH), and his Companions reached Al-Hijr, the dwellings of the Thamud people, he admonished his Companions (saying), "Do not pass by these people who are being tormented, without weeping, lest the punishment should befall you as it had befallen them.'' [Al-Bukhari Book 04, Chapter 55, Hadith # 564].

Another narration is: Hazrat Ibn `Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) said: When the Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) passed near Al-Hijr, he said, "Do not enter without weeping, the dwellings of those who wronged themselves, lest the same chastisement should fall upon you as it had fallen upon them.'' Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) then covered his head and sped up until he crossed the valley of the tormented people.

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Fatir Ayat 44. Have they (Pagans of Makkah) not travelled in the land, and seen what was the end of those before them, and they were superior to them in power?” The Thamud were the people to whose guidance Allah sent Prophet Salih PBUH. They lived between Al-Madinah and Syria. In 10 A.H. when the Prophet [SAWW](PBUH) went to the Syrian border for the Tabuk expedition, he also passed through this ruined territory. This Hadith is related to the address which he gave to his Companions on the occasion. Here is an instruction that when we happen to pass through the territory of a nation destroyed in the past as a result of Divine wrath, we are advised to quicken one's pace. That is why we have been commanded to avoid the company of the corrupt and the wrongdoers, lest we meet their bad end, too. As the Qur'an says: "And incline not toward those who do wrong, lest the Fire should touch you.'' (11:113) May Allah saves us from it!

[35].Surah Fatir [The Originator of Creation]: Ayat 43

Ayat 43.  (They took to flight because of their) arrogance in the land and their plotting of evil. But the evil plot encompasses only him who makes it. Then, can they expect anything (else), but theSunnah (way of dealing) of the peoples of old? So no change will you find in Allah’s Sunnah (way of dealing), and no turning off will you find in Allah’s Sunnah (way of dealing).

Tafseer of Surah Fatir Ayat 43. On account of their arrogance in the land and their plotting of Evil. But the plotting of Evil will hem in only the authors thereof. Now are they but looking for the way the ancients were dealt with? But no change wilt thou find in Allah's way (of dealing): no turning off wilt thou find in Allah's way (of dealing). Two causes are mentioned why the Truth is refused acceptance. (1) Unregenerate man is arrogant, and Truth and Righteousness expose all his pretences. (2) He hopes, by underhanded plots, to undermine Truth and destroy it; but he is caught in his own snares, while Truth marches forward triumphant. In all history, men who followed evil were dealt with in three stages by Allah: (1) He was forbearing and merciful, and gave them respite; (2) He sent them admonition through his messengers, or His Signs, or His revelation; (3) He dealt out justice and punishment. At any given moment, those given to iniquity may well be asked: "Are you going to wait through all these stages or are you going at once to repent, obtain forgiveness, and walk in the ways of righteousness?"  Allah's Laws are fixed, and His ways of dealing with those who follow iniquity are the same in all ages. Our human will may falter or turn away from its course, but Allah's Will ever follows its course and cannot be turned away by any cause whatever.

Hazrat Anas bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, "When a non-believer does good deed he is made to taste its reward in this world. And for believer is concerned, Allah (SWT) stores (the reward) of his virtues for the hereafter and provides him sustenance in accordance with his obedience to him (in this world)". [Muslim Book 39, Chapter 11, Hadith # 6740].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Fatir Ayat 43. “So no change will you find in Allah’sSunnah (way of dealing), and no turning off will you find in Allah’s Sunnah (way of dealing)” this Hadith shows the value of the Hereafter and its blessings compared to the worldly life. This Hadith also induces one to work for the life of the Hereafter, as the amenities of this world which one strives hard to attain.

[35].Surah Fatir [The Originator of Creation]: Ayat 42

Ayat 42. And they (Pagans of Makkah) swore by Allah their most binding oath, that if a warner came to them, they would be more guided than any of the nations (before them), yet when a warner (Muhammad image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH), came to them, it increased in them nothing but flight (from the truth),

Tafseer of Surah Fatir Ayat 42. They swore their strongest oaths by Allah that if a warner came to them, they would follow his guidance better than any (other) of the Peoples: But when a warner came to them, it has only increased their flight (from righteousness), - Cf. 6:157. In the first instance this referred to the Quraysh. Their attitude to the People of the Book had been one of lofty superiority or of insincere excuses. They twitted the Jews and Christians with deviating from their own lights and their own revelations; and for themselves, they said they had received no direct revelation from Allah, or they would have shown themselves the most amenable to discipline, the most ready to follow Allah's Law. This was before the Prophet received his mission from Allah. When he received it and announced it, they turned away from it. They fled from it and put a greater and greater distance between it and themselves. But this is the way of all sinners. They find much to carp at in others, and much to excuse in themselves. But when all grounds for excuse are removed, they will be found, not nearer, but farther and farther away from truth and righteousness.

Hazrat Abu Sufyan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported, in course of his detailed narration about Heraclius when the latter questioned him about the teachings of the Prophet image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) He said that: He image001.jpg  [SAWW](PBUH) told (us): "Worship Allah Alone and do not associate a thing with Him; and give up all that your ancestors said.”He also commands us to perform Salat (prayers), to speak the truth, to observe modesty and to strengthen the ties of kinship. [Al-Bukhari Book 01, Chapter 01, Hadith # 06].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Fatir Ayat 42. And they (Pagans of Makkah) swore by Allah their most binding oath, that if a warner came to them, they would be more guided than any of the nations” In this Hadith an enemy of the Prophet image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) acknowledges the veracity of the Prophet's teaching, because Abu Sufyan (May Allah be pleased with him) made this admission when he was a pagan.

[35].Surah Fatir [The Originator of Creation]: Ayat 41

Ayat 41. Verily! Allah grasps the heavens and the earth lest they move away from their places, and if they were to move away from their places, there is not one that could grasp them after Him. Truly, Allah is Ever Most Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving.

Tafseer of Surah Fatir Ayat 41. It is Allah Who sustains the heavens and the earth, lest they cease (to function): and if they should fail, there is none - not one - can sustain them thereafter: Verily He is Most Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving. The universe, as we know it, shows not only evidence of initial designs, but also the working of an intelligent Providence, which constantly sustains it. That is Allah. If you could imagine that removed, what is there to keep it going? There would only be chaos. Allah's world goes on according to the laws and decrees established by Him. There are occasional lapses and deviations on the part of His creatures. But He does not punish every petty fault. One of His merciful qualities is that of repeated forbearance and forgiveness.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr bin Al Aas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that he heard Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) as saying: Verily, the hearts of all the sons of Adam are between the two fingers out of the fingers of the Compassionate Lord as one heart. He turns that to any (direction) He likes. Then Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said: "0 Allah, the Turner of the hearts, turn our hearts to Thine obedience". [Muslim Book 33, Chapter 03, Hadith # 6418].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Fatir Ayat 41. “Truly, Allah is Ever Most Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving Obedience (and Guidance) here means guidance at every turn of life and steadfastness on the path of truth. Fear of Allah is the greatest means of piety and strongest defense against sins.

[35].Surah Fatir [The Originator of Creation]: Ayat 40

Ayat 40. Say (O Muhammad image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH), "Tell me or inform me (what) do you think about your (so-called) partner gods to whom you call upon besides Allah, show me, what they have created of the earth? Or have they any share in the heavens? Or have We given them a Book, so that they act on clear proof therefrom? Nay, the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) promise one another nothing but delusions."

Tafseer of Surah Fatir Ayat 40. Say: "Have ye seen (these) ´Partners´ of yours whom ye call upon besides Allah. Show Me what it is they have created in the (wide) earth. Or have they a share in the heavens? Or have We given them a Book from which they (can derive) clear (evidence)? - Nay, the wrong-doers promise each other nothing but delusions. The people who enthrone in their hearts for worship anything besides Allah may well be asked a few questions. Some of such questions are indicated in the text with terse precision: (1) Have you seen these gods of yours? Do they exist? "Seeing" of course does not necessarily mean physical sight. We do not see the air, but no one doubts that it exists. And the air is a physical substance. There are forces that we know exist, but we do not see them. To us, who have Faith, Allah is a truer Reality than anything else that we know, including ourselves. Can the false worshippers say that of any of their false gods? (2) Have your gods created or originated anything on earth? You may worship power or wealth, but that is a scramble for things as between selfish men. Power or wealth does not create new men or new worlds. (3) Have they a share in the ordering of the heavens? "The heavens" may mean what you see in the physical universe of astronomy, or the still subtler inner life. Obviously your false gods fail there. (4) Or have these false gods a book or revelation from the Supreme God, with clear evidence, to give them authority to teach men? The Prophets or Messengers of Allah have such authority, and they bring evidence of the One True God. The fact is that falsehood is falsehood, however much one form of it may support another by delusions.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allahimage001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said,  There is none born but is created to his true nature (Islam). It is his parents who make him a Jew or a Christian (or a Polytheist) or a Magian quite as beasts produce their young with their limbs perfect. Do you see anything deficient in them? Then he quoted the Quran, The nature made by Allah in which He has created men there is no altering of Allah's creation; that is the right religion" [Muslim Book 03, Chapter 33, Hadith # 6423].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Fatir Ayat 40. “Nay, the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) promise one another nothing but delusions” This Hadith brings out the following point: Only Allah has a power to guide any to the true path the right path is Knowledge and understanding of Deen (religion) here stands for the understanding of the Qur'an and Hadith, religious injunctions, and knowledge of the lawful and the unlawful.

[35].Surah Fatir [The Originator of Creation]: Ayat 39

Ayat 39. He (Allah) it is Who has made you successors generations after generations in the earth, so whosoever disbelieves (in Islamic Monotheism) on him will be his disbelief. And the disbelief of the disbelievers adds nothing but hatred with their Lord. And the disbelief of the disbelievers adds nothing but loss.

Tafseer of Surah Fatir Ayat 39. He it is That has made you inheritors in the earth:  if, then, any do reject (Allah), their rejection (works) against themselves: their rejection but adds to the odium for the Unbelievers in the sight of their Lord: their rejection but adds to (their own) undoing. Inheritors: khala'if. In two senses: (1) as Vicegerents of Allah on earth, and (2) as successors to previous, people who forfeited their rights by wrongdoing. The honour and dignity of (1) and the examples of the past in (2) should have kept them straight and made them truly grateful. See also 6:165. Their rejection and ingratitude only causes injury to themselves. They lose all honour and incur odium in the sight of Allah, and they complete their own undoing.

Hazrat Saeed Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Whoever amongst you sees an evil, he must change it with his hand; if he is unable to do so, then with his tongue; and if he is unable to do so, then with his heart; and that is the weakest form of Faith". [Muslim Book 01, Chapter 21, Hadith # 80]

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Fatir Ayat 39. He (Allah) it is Who has made you successors generations after generations in the earth, so whosoever disbelieves (in Islamic Monotheism) on him will be his disbelief. This Hadith contains a very important prescription to prevent the Muslim society from all things which are forbidden in Islam. So long as Muslims adhered to it and ceaselessly and fearlessly performed their obligation of enjoining the right and forbidding the wrong, their society was largely safe from many evils and sins.
