[14].Surah Ibrahim {A.S} [Abraham (PBUH)]: Ayat 21

Ayat 21. And they all shall appear before Allah (on the Day of Resurrection) then the weak will say to those who were arrogant (chiefs & leaders): "Verily, we were following you; can you avail us anything from Allah's Torment?" They will say: "Had Allah guided us, we would have guided you. It makes no difference to us (now) whether we rage, or bear (these torments) with patience, there is no place of refuge for us."
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) said, "If anyone calls others to follow right guidance, his reward will be equivalent to those who follow him (in righteousness) without their reward being diminished in any respect, and if anyone invites others to follow error, the sin, will be equivalent to that of the people who follow him (in sinfulness) without their sins being diminished in any respect". [Muslim Book 34, Chapter 06, Hadith # 6470].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Ibrahim {A.S} Ayat 21. ""Verily, we were following you;" `Invitation' and `Call' stand to mean here that someone induces others to virtue or seduces to sin by means of his speech or action. We come to know from this Hadith that one who becomes a medium for either of them is given a reward or punishment respectively by Allah (SWT).
