[14].Surah Ibrahim {A.S} [Abraham (PBUH)]: Ayat 30-31

Ayat 30. And they set up rivals to Allah, to mislead (men) from His Path! Say: "Enjoy (your brief life)! But certainly, your destination is the (Hell) Fire!"
Ayat 31. Say (O Muhammad  [SAWW](PBUH) to 'Ibadi (My slaves) who have believed, that they should perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and spend in charity out of the sustenance We have given them, secretly and openly, before the coming of a Day on which there will be neither mutual bargaining nor befriending.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) said, "He who purifies (performs Wudu') himself in his house and then walks to one of the houses of Allah (Masjid) for performing an obligatory Salat in congregation, one step of his will wipe out his sins and another step will elevate his rank (in Jannah).''
[Muslim Book 04, Chapter 91, Hadith # 1409].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Ibrahim {A.S} Ayat 31. "they should perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat)" This Hadith has an inducement for offering Salat in the mosque and brings into eminence the merit of doing so. The merit lies in the fact that one minor sin is pardoned at every step that is taken towards the mosque and one's status (in Jannah) is enhanced by one stage. This Hadith also mentions the vastness of the Mercy and Blessing of Allah.
