[24].Surah An-Nur [The Light]: Ayat 59

Ayat 59. And when the children among you come to puberty, then let them (also) ask for permission, as those senior to them (in age). Thus Allah makes clear His Ayat (Commandments and legal obligations) for you. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

[Tafseer] of Ayat 59. But when the children among you come of age, let them (also) ask for permission, as do those senior to them (in age): Thus does Allah make clear His Signs to you: for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom. Children among you: i.e., in your house, not necessarily your own children. All in the house, including the stranger within your gate, must conform to these wholesome rules. Those senior to them: literally, those before them, i.e.., those who have already become grown-up before these children attain their age. It is suggested that each generation as it grows up should follow the wholesome tradition of its predecessors. While they were children, they behaved like children; when they grow up, they must behave like grown-ups. The refrain connects up this verse with the last verse, whose meaning is completed here. The slight variation ("His Signs" here, against "the Signs" there) shows that this verse is more personal, as referring to children who have now become responsible men and women.

Hazrat Abu Umamah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) said, "The superiority of the learned over the devout worshipper is like my superiority over the most inferior amongst you (in good deeds).'' He [SAWW](PBUH) went on to say, "Allah, His angels, the dwellers of the heaven and the earth, and even the ant in its hole and the fish (in water) supplicate in favour of those who teach people knowledge.''  [At-Tirmidhi Hadith 2685].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah An-Nur Ayat 59."Allah makes clear His Ayat (Commandments and legal obligations) for you. Alim (learned person) here means scholar of the Qur'an and Hadith is the best person to convey the Message of Allah which was sent through his Messengers, Alim is the one who adheres to Faraid and Sunnah and remains busy in learning and imparting knowledge. `Abid (devout worshipper) is one who spends most of his time in the worship of Allah. The benefit of his voluntary prayer and remembrance of Allah is restricted to his own self while the benefit of knowledge of the scholar reaches others also. Hence, of the two, the latter is far superior. If Salat is mentioned with reference to Allah, it denotes "Allah's Grace with Mercy;'' if it is mentioned with reference to the angels, it denotes "to pray for forgiveness;'' and if it is mentioned with reference to other creatures - men, animals, etc., - then it means prayer and supplication. Thus, Allah graces that person with His Mercy who teach people the beneficial knowledge, i.e., the knowledge of Islam; angels pray to Allah to forgive his (or her) sins; and other creatures pray for his (or her) well-being. In this way, this Hadith stresses the distinction of religious scholars and highlights the esteem in which they are held by Allah, His angels and His other creatures

[24].Surah An-Nur [The Light]: Ayat 57

৫৭. তোমরা কাফেরদেরকে পৃথিবীতে পরাক্রমশালী মনে করো না। তাদের ঠিকানা অগ্নি। কতই না নিকৃষ্ট এই প্রত্যাবর্তনস্থল।

Ayat 57. Consider not that the disbelievers (As for them, They are but plotting a scheme so they can escape in the land (or change Allah's will and plan). Their abode shall be the Fire, and worst indeed is that destination.

[Tafseer] of Ayat 57. Never think thou that the Unbelievers are going to frustrate ((Allah)'s Plan) on earth: their abode is the Fire,- and it is indeed an evil refuge! Though Allah in His Mercy has provided a piercing light to penetrate our spiritual darkness, and made our beings responsive to the growth of spiritual understanding, just as the hard earth is responsive to the sprouting of a seed or the gushing of a stream, yet there are evil, unregenerate men who plot and scheme against the beneficent purpose of Allah. But their plots will be of no avail, and Allah's Purpose will prevail. It happened so with the Quraish who wanted to thwart the growth of Islam. It will be so in all ages.

Hazrat Abu Musa Al-Ashari (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: When the Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH), feared mischief from a people, he would supplicate: "Allahumma inna naj`aluka fi nuhurihim, wa na`udhu bika min shururihim (O Allah! We ask You to face them, and seek Your Protection against their evil.''
[Abu Dawud Hadith # 1537 # and An-Nasa'i Hadith # 8631].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah An-Nur Ayat 57."Consider not that the disbelievers (As for them, they are but plotting a scheme so they) can escape in the land" Allah's Help, we are told, is a protection against all perils. Through this prayer we seek His Help with the conviction that the deceptions and designs of the infidels will turn back upon them.

[24].Surah An-Nur [The Light]: Ayat 56

৫৬. নামায কায়েম কর, যাকাত প্রদান কর  এবং রসূলের আনুগত্য কর যাতে তোমরা অনুগ্রহ প্রাপ্ত হও।

Ayat 56. And perform AsSalat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat and obey the Messenger (Muhammad  SAWW (PBUH) that you may receive mercy (from Allah).

[Tafseer] of Ayat 56. So establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and obey the Messenger SAWW (PBUH). that ye may receive mercy, the only way to please Allah (SWT) the way the companion of Prophet SAWW (PBUH) did every muslim must follow the Quran the Sunnah, Hadith.

Hazrat Ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Islam is based on five (pillars): testifying that there is no true god except Allah and that Muhammad  [SAWW](PBUH) is His slave and Messenger; performing of Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat); the payment of Zakat; performing Hajj (pilgrimage) to the House [of Allah (Ka`bah)]; and Saum (fasting) during the month of Ramadan.''
[Al-Bukhari Book 01, Chapter 02, Hadith # 07]

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah An-Nur Ayat 56."perform AsSalat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat" In this Hadith, Islam has been compared to a building which rests on five pillars. As a building cannot stand without its foundation, similarly, Islam cannot exist without these pillars. For this reason, he who denies any one of these obligations is a disbeliever, and he who neglects any of them due to slackness or want of attention is a sinful and impious Muslim.
