[33].Surah Al-Ahzab [The Confederates]: Ayat 60-61

Ayat 60. If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease (evil desire for adultery, etc.), and those who spread false news among the people in Al-Madinah, cease not, Allah shall certainly overpower them with a (terrible) punishment, then they will not be able to stay in it as your neighbors but a little while.
Ayat 61. Accursed, wherever found, they shall be seized and dealt with a (terrible) punishment.

Tafseer of Surah Al Ahzab (The Confederates) Ayat 60 and 61.Truly, if the Hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and those who stir up sedition in the City, desist not, We shall certainly stir thee up against them: Then will they not be able to stay in it as thy neighbors for any length of time: It was necessary to put down all kinds of unseemly conduct in the Prophet's City. And here is the warning in the plainest terms. And the warning had its effect. The "Hypocrites" were men who pretended to be in Islam but whose manners and morals were anti-Islamic. Those "with diseased hearts" may have been the ones that molested innocent women. "Those who stirred up sedition" put false rumors in circulation to excite the crowd. Alas! we must ask ourselves the question: "Are these conditions present among us today?"

Ayat 61. They shall have a curse on them: whenever they are found, they shall be seized and slain (without mercy). They will be deprived of the blessing and guidance of Allah. They sought to cause disorder in Allah's world—moral as well as material, but they will themselves be destroyed. Those who become outlaws, rebels against the Law, will themselves be destroyed by the Law. Capital punishment is the only adequate punishment for treason and crimes of sustained concerted violence—for the protection of the hearths and homes of innocent citizens and the honour of their women.
Hazrat Abu Musa (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allahimage001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, ”Verily, Allah gives respite to the oppressor. But when He seizes him, He does not let him escape.'' Then he (PBUH)) recited, "Such is the Seizure of your Rubb when He seizes the (population of) towns while they are doing wrong. Verily, His Seizure is painful (and) severe". (11:102).  [Al-Bukhari Book 06, Chapter 60, Hadith # 208]

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Al-Ahzab Ayat 61. Accursed, wherever found, they shall be seized and dealt with a (terrible) punishment” One should not take the respite for exemption because no one knows when respite granted by Him will come to an end and punishment will follow.
