[33].Surah Al-Ahzab [The Confederates]: Ayat 70

৭০. হে মুমিনগণ! আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং সঠিক কথা বল

Ayat 70. O you who believe! Keep your duty to Allah and fear Him, and speak (always) the truth.

Tafseer of Surah Al Ahzab (The Confederates) Ayat 70. O ye who believe! Fear Allah, and (always) say a word directed to the Right: We must not only speak the truth as far as we know it, but we must always try to hit the right point; i.e., we must not speak unseasonably, and when we do speak, we must not beat about the bush, but go straight to that which is right, in his deeds as well as in word. Then Allah will make our conduct right and cure any defects that there may be in our knowledge and character. With our Endeavour directed straight to the goal, we shall be forgiven our errors, shortcomings, faults, and sins of the past.
Hazrat Abu Said Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, "The best type of Jihad (striving in the way of Allah) is speaking a true word in the presence of a tyrant ruler.''  [Abu Dawud Hadith # 4344 and At-Tirmidhi Hadith # 2174].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Al-Ahzab Ayat 70. O you who believe! Keep your duty to Allah and fear Him, and speak (always) the truth” Jihad has many degrees. Preaching of virtue is also Jihad. The most meritorious of all is the effort of communicating the Message of Allah to an unjust ruler. Similarly, if a society is so much given to a vice that no one can dare to utter a word against it, then to protest against it can also be reckoned as the best Jihad.
