[38].Surah Suad: Ayat 009-011

৯. ওদেরকে বিতাড়নের উদ্দেশে। ওদের জন্যে রয়েছে বিরামহীন শাস্তি।

১০. তবে কেউ ছোঁ মেরে কিছু শুনে ফেললে জ্বলন্ত উল্কাপিন্ড তার পশ্চাদ্ধাবন করে।

১১. আপনি তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করুন, তাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করা কঠিনতর, না আমি অন্য যা সৃষ্টি করেছি? আমিই তাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছি এঁটেল মাটি থেকে।

Ayat 9.  Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) Or have they the treasures of the Mercy of your Lord, the All-Mighty, the Real Bestower?

Ayat 10. Or is it that the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them is theirs? If so, let them ascend up with means (to the heavens)!

Ayat 11. (As they denied Allah’s Message) they will be a defeated host like the confederates of the old times (who were defeated).

Tafseer of Surah Suad Ayat 9. Or have they the treasures of the mercy of thy Lord,- the Exalted in Power, the Grantor of Bounties without measure? If they set themselves to judge Allah, have they anything to show comparable to Allah's Mercy and Power! He has both in infinite measure. Who are they to question the grant of His Mercy and Revelation to His own Chosen One? Ayat 10. Or have they the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all between? If so, let them mount up with the ropes and means (to reach that end)! Weak and puny creatures though they are, they dare to raise their heads against the Omnipotent, as if they had dominion over Creation and not He! If they had any power, let them mount up to heaven and use all the means they have to that end, and see how they can frustrate Allah's Purpose! Ayat 11. But there - will be put to flight even a host of confederates. Of course they cannot frustrate Allah's Purpose. In that world—the spiritual world—they will be ignominiously routed, even if they form the strongest confederacy of the Powers of Evil that ever could combine.

Hazrat Abu Thabit (Abu Saeed / Abu Waleed) heard from Hazrat Sahl bin Hunaif (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet  [SAWW](PBUH) said: "He who asks Allah for martyrdom, Allah will raise him to the high status of the martyrs, even if he dies on his bed". [Muslim Book 20, Chapter 46, Hadith # 4695]. 

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah As-Suad Ayat 11. (As they denied Allah’s Message) they will be a defeated host like the confederates of the old times (who were defeated)” This Hadith highlights the merit and importance of sincere intention which in fact is so great that by virtue of it Allah raises a person's status to that of a martyr. On the contrary, persons of foul intention will be consigned to Hell by Allah even if they die in Jihad.
