[20].Surah Taha [Tâ-Hâ]: Ayat 45-46

Ayat 45. They said: "Our Lord! Verily! We fear lest he should hasten to punish us or lest he should transgress (all bounds against us)."
Ayat 46. He (Allah) said: "Fear not, verily! I am with you both, hearing and seeing.
[Tafseer] They (Moses and Aaron) said: "Our Lord! We fear lest he hasten with insolence against us, or lest he transgress all bounds."They were now in Egypt and therefore in the power of the Pharaoh. The local atmosphere called for the greatest courage and firmness on their part to carry out the dangerous mission which had been entrusted to them. He said: "Fear not: for I am with you: I hear and see (everything).
Hazrat Sufyan bin Abdullah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I said, "O Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH), tell me something of Islam which I will not ask anyone else about it.'' He (PBUH) said, "Say, 'I believe in Allah' and then be steadfast".
[Muslim Book 01,Chapter 14, Hadith # 062]
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Taha Ayat 46."(Allah) said: "Fear not, verily! I am with you both, hearing and seeing" Steadfastness means adhering firmly to the injunctions of Islam, to act upon what is ordained and avoid what is prohibited, to perform dutifully orders in respect of obligations and what is regarded desirable and avoid what is unlawful. Faith is not a mere expression of Shahadah. The real Faith is one which is coupled with its actual practice because practice of religion is in fact the fruit of Faith. A tree which does not bear any fruit, has no value, similarly; faith becomes meaningless without practice. Steadfastness is the mark of perfect Faith.
