[22].Surah Al-Hajj [The Pilgrimage]: Ayat 77

Ayat 77. O you who believe! Bow down, and prostrate yourselves, and worship your Lord and do good that you may be successful.

[Tafseer]  Ayat 77. O ye who believe! bow down, prostrate yourselves, and adore your Lord; and do good; that ye may prosper. Prosper, in a spiritual sense, both in this life and the Hereafter.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr bin Al Aas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that he heard Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) as saying: Verily, the hearts of all the sons of Adam are between the two fingers out of the fingers of the Compassionate Lord as one heart. He turns that to any (direction) He likes. Then Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said : "0 Allah, the Turner of the hearts, turn our hearts to Thine obedience".

[Muslim Book 33, Chapter 03, Hadith # 6418]. 

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Hajj Ayat 77."O you who believe! Bow down, and prostrate yourselves, and worship your Lord" Obedience ( and Guidance) here means guidance at every turn of life and steadfastness on the path of truth. Fear of Allah is the greatest means of piety and strongest defense against sins.
