Ayat
15. After that, surely, you will die.
Ayat 16. Then (again), surely, you will be
resurrected on the Day of Resurrection.
Ayat 17. And indeed We have created above you
seven (Skies) heavens (one over the other), and We are never unaware of the
creation.
in Ayat
17. And Allah have made, above you,
seven tracts; and Allah is never unmindful of (his) Creation. Tara'iq. skies, tracts, roads, orbits, or paths
of motion in the visible heavens. These seven are regular and clearly marked to
our eyes, in the immense space that we see around us. We must go to astronomy to
form any plausible theories of these motions. But their simplest observation
gives us a sublime view of beauty, order, and grandeur in the universe. The
assurance given in the next clause, that Allah cares for us and all His
Creation, and calls our attention to Allah's goodness, which is further
illustrated in the subsequent verses. Allah's care for His Creation is
ceaseless. A few examples of His care for our physical well-being are given in
next verses 18 to 22, and for our spiritual
well-being.
[Tafseer]
After that, at length we will die
our physical death in this mortal life seems to make a break. But if it were the
end of all, our life becomes meaningless. Our own instinct tells us that it
cannot be so, and Allah assures us that there will be a resurrection for
judgment. in Ayat 16. its clarified that again, on the Day
of Judgment, all humans will be raised up.
Hazrat Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (May
Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah
[SAWW](PBUH) said, "How can I feel at ease when the Angel of the Trumpet,
(Israfil) has put his lips to the Trumpet and is waiting for the order to blow
it". He [SAWW](PBUH) perceived as if this had shocked his Companions, so he
[SAWW](PBUH) told them to seek comfort through reciting: `Hasbunallah wa
ni`mal-Wakil [Allah (Alone) is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of
affairs (for us)]".
[At-Tirmidhi Hadith
# 2431]
Lesson : as
mentioned above in Surah Al-Muminun Ayat 16."surely, you will be
resurrected on the Day of Resurrection" 1. This Hadith tells us about the fear of Allah and the fright of the
Hereafter entertained by the Prophet [SAWW](PBUH) and his Companions. It has a lesson for us
that how, in spite of being innocent and having the assurance of the forgiveness
of Allah, they were always fearful of Allah and the horrors of the Day of
Resurrection. As against them, we are immersed in sins, neglect and violate the
Divine injunctions day and night but even then we have neither the fear of Allah
nor the fright of the Day of Resurrection.
2. In the event of
fear and anxiety one should seek the help of Allah and frequently recite the
Verse of the Noble Qur'an "Hasbunallahu wa ni`mal Wakil'' [Allah (Alone) is
Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us).]''
(3:173).
