৪৪. মূসাকে আমি যখন নির্দেশনামা দিয়েছিলাম, তখন আপনি পশ্চিমপ্রান্তে ছিলেন না এবং আপনি প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীও ছিলেন না।
Ayat 44. And you (O Muhammad 
SAWW PBUH) were not on the western side (of the Mount), when Allah (SWT) made clear to Musa PBUH (Moses) the commandment, and you ( SAWW PBUH) were not among those present.
Tafseer of Surah Al-Qasas (The Narration) Ayat 44. Thou Prophet PBHU were not on the Western side when Allah decreed the Commission to Moses PBUH, or thou a witness (of those events). The Sinai Peninsula is in the northwest corner of Arabia. But the reference here is, to the western side of the valley of liiwa. Mount Tur, where Moses received his prophetic commission, is on the western side of the valley.
Hazrat Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) used to supplicate: "Allahumma inni A’udhu bika minal-ajzi wal-kasali, wal-jubni wal-harami, wal-bukhli, WA A’udhu bika min `adhabil-qabri, wa A’udhu bika min fitnatil-mahya wal-mamat [O Allah! I seek refuge in You from helplessness (to do good), indolence, cowardice, senility, and miserliness; and I seek Your Protection against the torment of the grave and the trials of life and death].'' Another narration adds: "wa dala`id-daini wa ghalabatir-rijal (And from the burden of indebtedness and the tyranny of men).'' [Muslim Book 35, Chapter 14, Hadith # 6536]
Lesson: This prayer is also very comprehensive. It is this mischief against which Allah's Protection has been sought through this prayer.
