Ayat 67. But as for him who repented (from polytheism and sins, etc.), believed (in the Oneness of Allah, and in His Messenger Muhammad SAWW (PBUH), and did righteous deeds (in the life of this world), then he will be among those who are successful.
Ayat 68. And your Lord creates whatsoever He wills and chooses, no choice have they (in any matter). Glorified be Allah, and exalted above all that they associate as partners (with Him).
Tafseer of Surah Al-Qasas (The Narration) Ayat 67. But any that (in this life) had repented, believed, and worked righteousness, will have hopes to be among those who achieve salvation. Thy Lord does create and choose as He pleases: no choices have they (in the matter): Glory to Allah. And far is He above the partners they ascribe (to Him)! As He pleases: according to His own Will and Plan. Allah is not dependent on other people for advice or help. He has no partners. All creation is an act of His Will, and no one can direct Him how or why certain things should be, because He is supreme in wisdom and knowledge. He chooses His messengers also by His own unfettered choice. Inspiration or spiritual knowledge and dignity cannot be judged by our relative or temporary standards. Worldly greatness or even wisdom does not necessarily go with spiritual insight.
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "It is from the excellence of (a believer's) Islam that he should shun that which is of no concern to him".
[At-Tirmidhi Hadith # 2317].
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Qasas Ayat 67. “And did righteous deeds (in the life of this world), then he will be among those who are successful” This Hadith lays down a very important principle that one should avoid senseless talk and actions. If one acts upon this principle, he can save himself from many sins and evils.
