Tafseer of Surah Al-Ankabut (The Spider) Ayat 33. And when Our Messengers came to Lut, he was grieved on their account, and felt himself powerless (to protect) them: but they said: "Fear thou not, nor grieve: we are (here) to save thee and thy following, except thy wife: she is of those who lag behind. This part of the story may be read in greater detail in 11:77-83.
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, He who has done a wrong affecting his brother's honor or
anything else, let him ask his forgiveness today before the time (i.e.,
the Day of Resurrection) when he will have neither a dinar nor a
dirham. If he has done some good deeds, a portion equal to his wrong
doings will be subtracted from them; but if he has no good deeds, he
will be burdened with the evil deeds of the one he had wronged in the
same proportion".
