Ayat 116. And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate
yourselves to Adam." They prostrated (all) except Iblis (Satan),
who refused.
Ayat 117.
Then We said: "O Adam! Verily, this is an enemy to you and to your wife. So
let him not get you both out of Paradise, so that you be distressed in misery.
[Tafseer] When We said to the angels,
"Prostrate yourselves to Adam", they prostrated themselves, but not Iblis: he
refused. Then We said: "O
Adam! verily, this is an enemy to thee and thy wife: so let him not get you both
out of the Garden, so that thou art landed in misery. The story is referred to, in order
to draw attention to man's folly in rushing into the arms of Evil, through he
had been clearly
forewarned.
Hazrat Imran bin
Hussain (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: I heard the Messenger of
Allah
[SAWW](PBUH) saying, "Between time of the creation of Adam and the
Resurrection Day, there is nothing greater than the mischief of Dajjal (the
Antichrist).''
[Muslim Book 41,Chapter 23, Hadith #
7037]
Lesson : as
mentioned above in Surah Taha Ayat 117."so that you be
distressed in misery" Some
marks and signs of pseudo-Messiah (Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal) are mentioned to warn the
believers against his
mischief.
