[29].Surah Al-Ankabut [The Spider]: Ayat 30-31

Ayat 30. He said: "My Lord! Give me victory over the people who are Mufsidun (those who commit great crimes and sins, oppressors, tyrants, mischief-makers, corrupts).
Ayat 31. And when Our Messengers came to Ibrahim (Abraham) with the glad tidings they said: "Verily, we are going to destroy the people of this [Lout's (Lot's)] town (i.e. the town of Sodom in Palestine) truly, its people have been Zalimun [wrong-doers, polytheists and disobedient to Allah, and have also belied their Messenger Lout (Lot)]."

Tafseer of Surah Al-Ankabut (The Spider) Ayat 30 and 31. He said: "O my Lord! help Thou me against people who do mischief!" When Our Messengers came to Abraham PBUH with the good news, they said: "We are indeed going to destroy the people of this own ship: for truly they are (addicted to) crime." See 11:69-76. The angels, who were coming on the mission to destroy the people who were polluting the earth with their crimes, called on their way on Abraham PBUH to give the good news of the birth of a son to him in his old age. When they told him their destination, he feared for his nephew who he knew was there. They reassured him and then came on to Lut PBUH By translating township" I imply the two neighboring populations of Sodom and Gomorrah , who had already gone too far in their crime, their shamelessness, and their defiance, to profit by any mercy from Allah.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allahimage001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said,  "Verily, Allah gives respite to the oppressor. But when He seizes him, He does not let him escape.'' Then he (PBUH)) recited, "Such is the Seizure of your Rubb when He seizes the (population of) towns while they are doing wrong. Verily, His Seizure is painful (and) severe". (11:102). [Al-Bukhari Book 06, Chapter 60, Hadith # 208]

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al- Ankabut Ayat 31. “"Verily, we are going to destroy the people of this [Lout's (Lot's)] town” One should not take the respite for exemption because no one knows when respite granted by Him will come to an end and punishment will follow.

[29].Surah Al-Ankabut [The Spider]: Ayat 28-29

Ayat 28. And (remember) Lout (Lot), when he said to his people: "You commit Al-Fahishah (sodomy the worst sin) which none has preceded you in (committing) it in the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns)."
Ayat 29. "Verily, you do sodomy with men, and rob the wayfarer (travelers, etc.)! And practice Al-Munkar (disbelief and polytheism and every kind of evil wicked deed) in your meetings." But his people gave no answer except, that they said: "Bring Allah’s Torment upon us if you are one of the truthful."

Tafseer of Surah Al-Ankabut (The Spider) Ayat 28 and 29. And (remember) Lut PBUH: behold, he said to his people: "Ye do commit lewdness, such as no people in Creation (ever) committed before you. Cf. 7:80. A discreet reference is made to their unspeakable crimes, which were against the laws of nature. Ayat 29. "Do ye indeed approach men, and cut off the highway?- and practice wickedness (even) in your councils?" But his people gave no answer but this: they said: "Bring us the Wrath of Allah if thou tellest the truth." They infested highways and committed their horrible crimes not only secretly, but openly and publicly, even in their assemblies. Some Commentators understand "cutting off the highway" to refer to highway robberies; this is possible, and it is also possible that the crimes in their assemblies may have been injustice, rowdiness, etc. But the context seems to refer to their own special horrible crime, and the point here seems to be that they were not ashamed of it and that they practiced it publicly. Degradation could go no further. This is another instance of their effrontery, in addition to that mentioned in 7:82: the two supplement each other. Here the point emphasized is that they did not believe in Allah or His Punishment, and dared Allah's Prophet Lut PBUH to bring about the Punishment if he could. And it did come and destroy them.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allahimage001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, "By Him in Whose Hand my soul is, the world will not come to an end until a man passes by a grave and will lie over it saying, `Would that I were in this grave (i.e., dead)!' Not he will say so because of religious reasons but because of widespread mischief and severe trials of this world.''
[Al-Bukhari Book 09, Chapter 88, Hadith # 231]

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al- Ankabut Ayat 28. “"You commit Al-Fahishah (sodomy the worst sin) which none has preceded you in (committing) it in the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns)” There would be such disasters and agony in the world that people will prefer death to life under such conditions. This situation will arise before the Day of Resurrection, and the Day of Judgment will dawn on such wicked people.

[29].Surah Al-Ankabut [The Spider]: Ayat 27

Ayat 27. And We bestowed on him [Ibrahim PBUH (Abraham)], Ishaque PBUH (Isaac) and Yaqub PBUH (Jacob), and ordained among his offspring Prophet hood and the Book [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) (to Mussa Moses), the Injeel (Gospel) (to Iesa Jesus), the Qur’an (to Muhammadimage001.jpg SAWW (PBUH), all from the offspring of Ibrahim PBUH (Abraham)], and We granted him his reward in this world, and verily, in the Hereafter he is indeed among the righteous.

Tafseer of Surah Al-Ankabut (The Spider) Ayat 27. And We gave (Abraham PBUH) Isaac PBUH and Jacob PBUH, and ordained among his progeny Prophet hood (and Revelation, and We granted him his reward in this life; and he was in the Hereafter (of the company) of the Righteous. Isaac was Abraham's PBUH son and Jacob PBUH his grandson, and among his progeny was included Ismail PBUH the eldest son of Abraham PBUH. Each of these became a fountainhead of Prophecy and Revelation. Isaac and Jacob PBUH through Moses PBUH, and Ismail through the Prophet Muhammad PBUH. Jacob got the name of " Israel " at Bethel : Gen. 32:28; and 35:10, and his progeny got the title of "The Children of Israel". Cf. 29:9, and 4:69.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: It was asked, "O Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH)! Who is the most honorable amongst mankind?'' He image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, "The most honorable of them is one who is the most pious of them.'' They said, "We are not asking about this". He said, "Then, the most honorable of men was Yusuf [PBUH] (Joseph), the Prophet of Allah, the son of Allah's Prophet, who was the son of the Prophet of Allah, who was the son of the Khalil of Allah (i.e., Ibrahim (PBUH))' They said, "We are not asking you about this.'' He enquired, "Are you then asking me about the classes of the Arabs? The best of them in the Pre-Islamic Period of Ignorance are the best of them in Islam, provided they comprehend the religious knowledge".  [Al-Bukhari Book 05, Chapter 55, Hadith # 572]

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al- Ankabut Ayat 27. “all from the offspring of Ibrahim PBUH (Abraham)], and We granted him his reward in this world, and verily, in the Hereafter he is indeed among the righteous” We come to know from this Hadith that the families which enjoyed popularity and prestige for their eminent qualities (like generosity, chivalry, honesty, etc.) in the pre-Islamic period were also credited for these values after their acceptance of Islam. But now their respect was qualified with their religious knowledge and practice. Their capabilities, self-respect and other qualities were turned towards a different direction. These qualities which were previously used for paganism were now devoted for Islam.

[29].Surah Al-Ankabut [The Spider]: Ayat 26

Ayat 26. So Lout PBUH (Lot) believed in him [Ibrahim’s PBUH (Abraham) Message of Islamic Monotheism]. He [Ibrahim PBUH (Abraham)] said: "I will emigrate for the sake of my Lord. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise."

Tafseer of Surah Al-Ankabut (The Spider) Ayat 26. But Hazrat Lut PBUH had faith in Him: He said: "I will leave home for the sake of my Lord: for He is Exalted in Might, and Wise." Hazrat Lut PBUH was a nephew of Hazrat Abraham PBUH. He adhered to Abraham's PBUH teaching and faith and accepted voluntary exile with him, for Abraham left the home of his father’s in Chaldea arid migrated to Syria and Palestine , where Allah gave him increase and prosperity, and a numerous family, who upheld the flag of Unity and the Light of Allah.

Hazrat 'Umar bin Al-Khattab (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, "The deeds are considered by the intentions, and a person will get the reward according to his intention. So whoever emigrated for Allah and His Messenger, his emigration will be for Allah and His Messenger; and whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration would be for what he emigrated for".

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al- Ankabut Ayat 26. “will emigrate for the sake of my Lord” According to some Ahadith, the reason for this Hadith is that a person sent a proposal of marriage to a woman named Umm Qais, which she turned down saying that he should have to emigrate to Al-Madinah for it. Accordingly, he did it for this specific purpose, and the two were married there. On account of this event, the man came to be known among the Companions as Muhajir Umm Qais. On the basis of this Hadith, 'Ulama' are of the unanimous opinion that the real basis of one's actions is Niyyah (intention) and everyone will be requited according to his Niyyah. It is true that Niyyah is founded in one's heart, that is to say, one has first to make up one's mind for what he intends to do and he should not express it verbally. In fact, the latter is a Bid'ah (innovation in religion) because no proof of it is found in Shariah. The point which becomes evident from this Hadith is that Ikhlas (sincerity) is a must for every action. In other words, in every righteous deed, one should seek only the Pleasure of Allah; otherwise, it will not be accepted by Allah.

[29].Surah Al-Ankabut [The Spider]: Ayat 25

Ayat 25. And [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "You have taken (for worship) idols instead of Allah, and the love between you is only in the life of this world, but on the Day of Resurrection, you shall disown each other, and curse each other, and your abode will be the Fire, and you shall have no helper."

Tafseer of Surah Al-Ankabut (The Spider) Ayat 25. And he said: "For you, ye have taken (for worship) idols besides Allah, out of mutual love and regard between yourselves in this life; but on the Day of Judgment ye shall disown each other and curse each other: and your abode will be the Fire, and ye shall have none to help." In sin and wickedness there is as much log-rolling as in politics. Evil men humor each other and support each other; they call each other's vice by high sounding names. They call it mutual regard or friendship or love; at the lowest, they call it toleration. Perhaps they flourish in this life by such arts. But they deceive themselves, and they betray each other. What will be their relations in the Hereafter? They will disown each other when each has to answer on the principle of personal responsibility. Each will accuse the others of misleading him, and they will curse each other. But there will then be no help, and they must suffer in the Fire.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) used to supplicate: "O Allah! To You I have submitted, and in You do I believe, and in You I put my trust, to You do I turn, and for You I argued. O Allah, I seek refuge with You through Your Power; there is none worthy of worship except You Alone; that You safeguard me against going astray. You are the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists; the One Who never dies, whereas human beings and jinn will all die".  [Muslim Book 35, Chapter 17, Hadith # 6561].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al- Ankabut Ayat 25. “You have taken (for worship) idols instead of Allah” This Hadith mentions the importance of Dua and faith in Allah, inducement for having trust in Him and the distinction of people who have these qualities.

[29].Surah Al-Ankabut [The Spider]: Ayat 24

Ayat 24. So nothing was the answer of [Ibrahim’s (Abraham)] people except that they said: "Kill him or burn him." Then Allah saved him from the fire. Verily, in this are indeed signs for a people who believe.

Tafseer of Surah Al-Ankabut (The Spider) Ayat 24. So naught was the answer of (Abraham´s) people except that they said: "Slay him or burn him." But Allah did save him from the Fire. Verily in this are Signs for people who believe. See 21:66-70. Abraham was cast into the fire, but he was unhurt, by the grace of Allah. So righteous people suffer no harm from the plots of the wicked. But they must leave the environment of evil even if they have to forsake their ancestral home, as Abraham did.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him) said "When (Prophet) Ibrahim PBUH (Abraham) was thrown into the fire, he said: "Allah (Alone) is sufficient for us, and, He is the Best Disposer of affairs.'' So did Messenger of Allah Muhammad image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) when he was told: "A great army of the pagans had gathered against him, so fear them". But this (warning) only increased him and the Muslims in Faith and they said: "Allah (Alone) is sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us)". [Al-Bukhari Book 06, Chapter 60, Hadith # 086]

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al- Ankabut Ayat 24. “Then Allah saved him from the fire” Even in the worst circumstances one should always have faith and trust in Allah.

[29].Surah Al-Ankabut [The Spider]: Ayat 20-21

Ayat 20. "Travel in the land and see how (Allah) originated creation, and then Allah will bring forth (resurrect) the creation of the Hereafter (i.e. resurrection after death). Verily, Allah is Able to do all things."
Ayat 21. He punishes whom He will, and shows mercy to whom He will, and to Him you will be returned.

Tafseer of Surah Al-Ankabut (The Spider) Ayat 20 & 21. Say: "Travel through the earth and see how Allah did originate creation; so will Allah produce a later creation: for Allah has power over all things. Travel through the earth: again, literally as well as symbolically. If we actually go through this wide earth, we shall see the wonderful things in His Creation—the Grand Canyon and the Niagara’s in North America, beautiful harbors like that at Sydney in Australia, mountains like Fujiyama, the Himalayas, and Elburz in Asia, the Nile with its wonderful cataracts in Africa, the Fiords of Norway, the Geysers of Iceland, the city of the midnight sun in Tromsoe, and innumerable wonders everywhere. But wonders upon wonders are disclosed in the constitution of matter itself, the atom, and the forces of energy, as also in the instincts of animals, and the minds and capacities of man. And there is no limit to these things. Worlds upon worlds are created and transformed every moment, within and presumably beyond man's vision. From what we know we can judge of the unknown. He punishes whom He pleases, and He grants Mercy to whom He pleases, and towards Him are ye turned. I think ilayhi tuqlabun is better translated "towards Him are ye turned" than "towards Him will be your return", as it implies not only the return of man to Allah in the Hereafter (turja'un in verse 17 above) but also the fact explained in verse 22 that man's needs are always to be obtained from Allah: man cannot frustrate Allah's designs, and can have no help or protection except from Allah: man has always to face Allah, whether man obeys Allah or tries to ignore Allah. Man will never be able to defeat Allah's Plan. According to His wise Will and Plan, He will grant His grace or withhold it from man.

Hazrat Ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) said: The Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, "If Allah afflicts punishment upon a nation, it befalls the whole population indiscriminately and then they will be resurrected and judged according to their deeds.''  [Al-Bukhari Book 09, Chapter 88, Hadith # 224]

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al- Ankabut Ayat 21. “He punishes whom He will, and shows mercy to whom He will, and to Him you will be returned” When Allah's punishment comes to pass, it does not distinguish between the upright and the wicked. However, the pious people will be saved from punishment after their death while the wicked ones will be punished in the Hell. May Allah save us from all types of punishments.

[29].Surah Al-Ankabut [The Spider]: Ayat 22-23

Ayat 22. And you cannot escape in the earth or in the heaven. And besides Allah you have neither any Wali (Protector or Guardian) nor any Helper.
Ayat 23. And those who disbelieve in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah and the Meeting with Him, it is they who have no hope of My Mercy, and it is they who will (have) a painful torment.

Tafseer of Surah Al-Ankabut (The Spider) Ayat 22 & 23. "Not on earth nor in heaven will ye be able (fleeing) to frustrate (his Plan), nor have ye, besides Allah, any protector or helper." 23. Those who reject the Signs of Allah and the Meeting with Him (in the Hereafter),- it is they who shall despair of My Mercy: it is they who will (suffer) a most grievous Penalty. The emphasis is on "they" (ula'ika). It is only the people who ignore or reject Allah's signs and reject a Hereafter, that will find themselves in despair and suffering. Allah's mercy is open to all, but if any reject His Mercy, they must suffer.

Hazrat Sahl bin Saad (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Were this world worth a wing of mosquito, He would not have given a drink of water to an (Kafir) infidel.'' [At-Tirmidhi Hadith # 2320].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al- Ankabut Ayat 23.” it is they who have no hope of My Mercy, and it is they who will (have) a painful torment” This Hadith makes it clear that the world and its wealth and riches has no significance to Allah. Thus, it should not have much significance to the believers. It should be considered a means to reform the Afterlife, or a place of trial.

[29].Surah Al-Ankabut [The Spider]: Ayat 19

Ayat 19. See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats it. Verily, that is easy for Allah.

Tafseer of Surah Al-Ankabut (The Spider) Ayat 19. See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats it: truly that is easy for Allah. The originating of creation is the creation of primeval matter. The repetition of the process of creation goes on constantly, for at every moment new processes are being called into being by the creative power of Allah, and according to His Laws. And the final creation as far as man is concerned will be in the Ma'ad, when the whole world as man sees it will be entirely newly created on a different plane. As far as Allah is concerned, there is nothing final-no first and last, for He is infinite. He was before our First and will be after our Last, and if there is any meaning in these relative terms, He is the real First and the real Last.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allahimage001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said,  "Between the two Blowing of the Trumpet there will be an interval of forty.'' The people said, "O Abu Hurairah! Do you mean forty days?'' He said, "I cannot say anything.'' They said, "Do you mean forty years?'' He said, "I cannot say anything.'' They said, "Do you mean forty months?'' He said, "I cannot say anything. The Prophet image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) added: `Everything of the human body will perish except the last coccyx bone (end part of the spinal cord), and from that bone Allah will reconstruct the whole body. Then Allah will send down water from the sky and people will grow like green vegetables'.''  [Al-Bukhari Volume 6, Book 60, Number 457].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al- Ankabut Ayat 19. “See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats it. Verily, that is easy for Allah”
1. When Israfil blows the Trumpet the first time, by Allah's Leave, all those who are in the heavens and on earth will swoon away, except him whom Allah will. This will be the first Blowing. Then, it will be blown a second time, they will become alive and will emerge from their graves. These Blowing are known as the `Blowing of Fainting and Rising'. As regard the interval between these two Blowing, the narrator of the narration, Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him), could not say anything when he was asked about it; as he himself did not know it. But in other narrations the interval has been mentioned as forty years.
2. The earth eats away the whole body of humans except the bodies of the Prophets. However, only the end part of the spinal cord remains intact. How it remains intact is known to Allah, but from it mankind will be created again.
3. Bodies will rise from the earth as vegetation springs out from the earth after the rainfall.

[29].Surah Al-Ankabut [The Spider]: Ayat 18

Ayat 18. "And if you deny, then nations before you have denied (their Messengers). And the duty of the Messenger is only to convey (the Message) plainly."

Tafseer of Surah Al-Ankabut (The Spider) Ayat 18. "And if ye reject (the Message of Allah), so did generations before you: and the duty of the messenger is only to preach publicly (and clearly).

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allahimage001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Everyone of my Ummah will enter Jannah except those who refuse". He was asked: "Who will refuse?'' He image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Whoever obeys me, shall enter Jannah, and whosoever disobeys me, refuses to (enter Jannah)".
[Al-Bukhari Book 9, Chapter 92, Hadith # 384]

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al- Ankabut Ayat 18. “duty of the Messenger is only to convey (the Message) plainly” The word Ummah here stands for the community which accepted the invitation of the Prophet (image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH), that is to say, the people who on his call embraced Islam. Out of this community who follow him faithfully will go to Jannah.

[29].Surah Al-Ankabut [The Spider]: Ayat 16-17

Ayat 16. And (remember) Ibrahim (Abraham) when he said to his people: "Worship Allah (Alone), and fear Him, that is better for you if you did but know.
Ayat 17. "You worship besides Allah only idols, and you only invent falsehood. Verily, those whom you worship besides Allah have no power to give you provision, so seek your provision from Allah (Alone), and worship Him (Alone), and be grateful to Him. To Him (Alone) you will be brought back.

Tafseer of Surah Al-Ankabut (The Spider) Ayat 16 & 17. And (We also saved) Abraham: behold, he said to his people, "Serve Allah and fear Him: that will be best for you- If ye understand! The story of Abraham has been told in various phases in different passages. The ones most germane to the present passage are: 21:51-72 (his being cast into the fire and being saved from it); and 19:41 -50 (his voluntary exile from the home of his father’s). Here the story is not told but is referred to in order to stress the following points; (1) Abraham's people only responded to his preaching by threatening to burn him (29:16-18, 24); (2) evil consorts with evil but will have a rude awakening (29:25); (3) the good adhere to the good, and are blessed (29:26-27). Note that the passage 29:19-23 is a parenthetical comment, though some Commentators treat a portion of it as part of Abraham's speech. "For ye do worship idols besides Allah, and ye invent falsehood. The things that ye worship besides Allah have no power to give you sustenance: then seek ye Sustenance from Allah, serve Him, and be grateful to Him: to Him will be your return. Sustenance: in the symbolic as well as the literal sense. Seek from Allah all that is necessary for your upkeep and development, and for preparing you for your future Destiny. Lay all your hopes in Him and in no one else. Dedicate yourselves to His worship. He will give you all that is necessary for your growth and well being, and you should show your gratitude to Him by conforming your will entirely to His.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allahimage001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said,  "Almighty Allah says, `I am the One who is most free from want of partners. He who does a thing for the sake of someone else beside Me, I discard him and his polytheism”. [Muslim Book 042, Chapter 06, Hadith # 7114].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al- Ankabut Ayat 17. “Those whom you worship besides Allah have no power to give you provision” He who does a thing for the sake of someone else beside Me'' here means to do something virtuous for mere show for worldly benefit, or to gain the reputation of being pious. "I discard him and his polytheism'' means that "I nullify his good deeds and deprive him of the reward.'' In this Hadith any virtue done for the sake of mere show has been likened to Shirk to make its viciousness and harm obvious. However, this is Ash-Shirk Al-Asghar, and those who commit it will not be forbidden access to Jannah. They will, after the punishment in Hell, ultimately enter Jannah. Whereas, those who are guilty of Ash-Shirk Al-Akbar and sheer Shirk will abide in Hell forever.

[29].Surah Al-Ankabut [The Spider]: Ayat 14-15

Ayat 14. And indeed We sent Nuh (Noah) to his people, and he stayed among them a thousand years less fifty years [inviting them to believe in the Oneness of Allah (Monotheism), and discard the false gods and other deities], and the Deluge overtook them while they were Zalimun (wrong-doers, polytheists, disbelievers, etc.).
Ayat 15. Then Allah saved him and those with him in the ship, and made it (the ship) as an Ayah (a lesson, a warning, etc.) for the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).

Tafseer of Surah Al-Ankabut (The Spider) Ayat 14 & 15. Allah (once) sent Noah to his people, and he tarried among them a thousand years less fifty: but the Deluge overwhelmed them while they (persisted in) sin. The story of Noah and his Flood is not told here. It is told in other places: e.g., see 11:25 -48 or 26:105-122- His only referred to here to point out that Noah's period lasted a long time, 950 years. (Cf. Gen. 9:28-29, where his whole age is declared to have been 950 years, of which 350 years were after the Flood). In spite of this long period, his contemporaries failed to listen, and they were destroyed but the story of the Ark remains an everlasting Sign and Warning to mankind-a Sign of deliverance to the righteous and of destruction to the wicked. 15. But Allah saved him and the companions of the Ark, and Allah made the (Ark) a Sign for all peoples!

Hazrat Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) used to say at the conclusion of prayer: "La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku, wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa `ala kulli shai'in Qadir. Allahumma la mani'a lima a'tayta, wa la mu`tiya lima mana'ta, wa la yanfa'u dhal-jaddi, minkal-jaddu (there is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him, His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent. O Allah! None can deny that which You bestow and none can bestow that which You hold back; and the greatness of the great will be of no avail to them against You).''
[Al-Bukhari Book 09, Chapter 92, Hadith # 395].

Lesson : Al-Jaddu'' means good luck and richness. That is, good fortune and prosperity will not be of any avail before Allah. What will really benefit a person before Him are Faith and virtuous deeds. The prayer quoted in this Hadith makes a special mention of His Oneness.
