[55] Surah Ar-Rahman [The Most Gracious]: Ayat 019-021

Ayat 19. He has let loosed the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together.
Ayat 20. Between them is a barrier which none of them can transgress.
Ayat 21. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

Tafseer of Surah Ar-Rahman Ayat 19 to 21. He has let free the two bodies of flowing water, meeting together: 5185 See 25:53, where it is explained how the two bodies of water, salt and sweet, meet together, yet keep separate, as if there was a barrier or partition between them. This is also one of the favour of Allah. Sea water is a sanitating agent, while fresh water is sweet and palatable to drink. For the allegorical interpretation, see 18:60. 20. Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress: 21. Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, Whoever performs Hajj (pilgrimage) and does not have sexual relations (with his wife), nor commits sin, nor disputes unjustly (during Hajj), then he returns from Hajj as pure and free from sins as on the day on which his mother gave birth to him.''
[Al-Bukhari Volume 02, Book 26, Hadith # 596].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Hadith the true meanings of “Rafath”' intercourse but it also signifies obscene and frivolous talk and the expression of desire to one's wife. Since coition with one's wife is forbidden during Hajj, so conversation with her on this subject or talking for amusement is also disliked. "Fisq'' means disobedience of Allah and quarrelling with people. One must avoid both of them during Hajj. The Hajj which is performed with all these restrictions has the merit that one is totally purged of sins. But this purification is from sins which come in the category of minor sins and which relate to the Rights of Allah. Major sins relating to the Rights of Allah and lapses in respect of the rights of people are not pardoned without sincere repentance and compensation to the aggrieved.
