[18].Surah Al-Kahf [The Cave]: Ayat 33-34

Ayat 33. Each of those two gardens brought forth its produce, and failed not in the least therein, and We caused a river to gush forth in the midst of them.
Ayat 34. And he had property (or fruit) and he said to his companion (proudly), in the course of mutual talk: I am more than you in wealth and stronger in respect of men."
[Tafseer] (Each of the gardens gave its fruit) every year (and withheld naught thereof. And We caused a river to gush forth therein) in their middle. (And he had fruit) the garden had fruits; or according to a different reading: wealth. (And he said unto his comrade) the believer: (when he spoke to him) bragging to him about his wealth: (I am more than thee in wealth, and stronger about men) I have more servants.
Hazrat Harithah bin Wahb (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) saying, "Shall I not inform you about the people of Jannah? It is every person who is, modest and humble (before Allah), a person who is accounted weak and is looked down upon but if he adjures Allah, Allah will certainly give him what he desires. Now shall I not inform you about the inmates of Hell? It is every violent, impertinent and proud man". [Al-Bukhari Book 06, Chapter 60, Hadith # 440].
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Kahf Ayat 34. "he said to his companion (proudly), in the course of mutual talk" This Hadith tells us about distinction of such weak, poor and secluded persons who do not have any important position in society but are so eminent in the realm of piety that, out of their utmost trust in Allah, if they take an oath for something, Almighty Allah fulfills their oath. Thus, this Hadith highlights the importance of modesty and condemns pride, miserliness and lust for name and fame.
