৪. কাফেররাই কেবল আল্লাহর আয়াত সম্পর্কে বিতর্ক করে। কাজেই নগরীসমূহে তাদের বিচরণ যেন আপনাকে বিভ্রান্তিতে না ফেলে।
Ayat 4. None disputes in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah but those who disbelieve. So let not their ability of going about here and there through the land (for their purposes) deceive you [O Muhammad [SAWW](PBUH), their ultimate end will be the Fire of Hell]!
Tafseer of Surah Al Mumin (The Believer) Ayat 04. None can dispute about the Signs of Allah but the Unbelievers. Let not, then, their strutting about through the land deceive thee! Allah's knowledge and attributes are perfect, and everything around us proclaims this. We are surrounded by His Signs. It is only want of Faith that will make people dispute about them. Cf. 3:196. Their strutting about shows hoe little they can read the signs.
Hazrat Ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: Some of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) saw Lailat-ul-Qadr (Night of Decree) in their dreams in the last seven nights of Ramadan, whereupon the Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "I see that your dreams all agree upon the last seven nights. Whosoever seeks it, let him seek it in the last seven nights.'' [Al-Bukhari Book 03, Chapter 32, Hadith # 232].
Lesson: "Tawat'at'' linguistically means to step or walk on, that is, to place foot over the place where one's fellow kept his foot. Here, it is used in the sense of correspondence. In other words, "I see that your dreams all agree upon the last seven nights'' stands to mean "you had similar dreams''. This was done by showing all of them the (spectacle) of Lailat-ul-Qadr. On the strength of these dreams, the Prophet (PBUH) said that Lailat-ul-Qadr should be sought in the last seven nights of Ramadan. The wisdom of keeping it secret is to keep people awake to engage in worship for a larger number of nights in this auspicious month.
