[40].Surah Al Mumin (The Believer) also known as Surah Ghafir [The Forgiver]: Ayat 010

Ayat 10. Those who disbelieve will be addressed (at the time of entering into the Fire): "Allah’s aversion was greater towards you (in the worldly life when you used to reject the Faith) than your aversion towards one another (now in the Fire of Hell, as you are now enemies to one another), when you were called to the Faith but you used to refuse."

Tafseer of Surah Al Mumin (The Believer) Ayat 10. The Unbelievers will be addressed: "Greater was theaversion of Allah to you than (is) your aversion to yourselves, seeing that ye were called to the Faith and ye used to refuse." The Unbelievers having rejected Allah's Signs, they now see how they are shut out from Grace, and they feel disgusted with themselves. How much greater was Allah's displeasure with them, when He showered mercy upon mercy on them and they yet rebelled! How could they now hope for Grace!

Hazrat Anas bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) never proceeded (for the prayer) on the Day of 'Id-ul-Fitr unless he had eaten some dates. Hazrat Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) also narrated: The Prophet image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) used to eat odd number of dates. [Al-Bukhari Volume 2, Book 15, Number 73].

Lesson: We learn from this Hadith "The wisdom behind eating before the Eid prayers (Salah) is so that no person doubts that fasting remains until after the Salah. So it is as if The Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) wanted to stop this from occurring.
