Ayat 101. Verily those for whom the good has preceded from Us, they
will be removed far there from (Hell) [e.g. Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary);
Uzair (Ezra), etc.].
Ayat 102. They shall not hear the slightest sound of it (Hell),
while they abide in that which their ownselves desire.
Ayat 103. The greatest terror (on the Day of Resurrection) will
not grieve them, and the angels will meet them, (with the greeting): "This is
your Day which you were promised."
[Tafseer]
Those for whom the good
(record) from Us has gone before, will be removed far there
from. In
contrast to the misery of those who rejected Truth and Right, will be the
happiness of those who accepted it. Their record does not lag behind: in fact it
goes before. Our Deeds go before our journey in this life is completed. What
then is Judgment? It is instantaneous: it will all be decided in the twinkling
of an eye (16:77). The good will not hear the least sound of the groans of evil.
Their true soul's desires will be fulfilled—not temporarily as in this world,
but in a permanent form. Not the slightest sound will they hear of Hell: what their
souls desired, in that will they dwell. The Great Terror will bring them no
grief: but the angels will meet them (with mutual greetings): "This is your
Day,- (the Day) that ye were promised." The Judgment and balancing of accounts will be a mighty Terror to
the evil doers. But it will cause, to the righteous, not grief or anxiety, but
hope and happiness, for now they will be in a congenial atmosphere, and will see
the fulfillment of their ideals in the meeting and greeting of the angels,
preparatory to their enjoyment of the supreme Bliss—seeing the Face of
Allah.
Hazrat Harithah bin Wahb (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard
Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) saying, "Shall I not inform you about the
people of Jannah? It is every person who is, modest and humble (before Allah), a
person who is accounted weak and is looked down upon but if he adjures Allah,
Allah will certainly give him what he desires. Now shall I not inform you about
the inmates of Hell? It is every violent, impertinent and proud man".
[Al-Bukhari Book 06, Chapter 60, Hadith #
440].
Lesson : as
mentioned above in Surah Al-Anbiya Ayat 103."The greatest terror
(on the Day of Resurrection) will not grieve them," This Hadith tells us about distinction of such weak, poor and
secluded persons who do not have any important position in society but are so
eminent in the realm of piety that, out of their utmost trust in Allah, if they
take an oath for something, Almighty Allah fulfills their oath. Thus, this
Hadith highlights the importance of modesty and condemns pride, miserliness and
lust for name and
fame.
