Ayat 94. So
whoever does righteous good deeds while he is a believer (in the Oneness of
Allah Islamic Monotheism), his efforts will not be rejected. Verily! We record
it in his Book of deeds.
Ayat 95. And a ban is laid on
every town (population) which We have destroyed that they shall not return (to
this world again, nor repent to Us).
[Tafseer]
Whoever works any act of righteousness
and has faith,- His endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his
favour. Allah gives credit for every act of righteousness, however small:
when combined with sincere Faith in Allah, it becomes the stepping stone to
higher and higher things. It is never lost. But there is a ban on any
population which We have destroyed: that they( shall not return, But when
wickedness comes to such a pass that the Wrath of Allah descends, as it did on
Sodom , the case becomes hopeless. The righteous were warned and delivered
before the Wrath descended. But those destroyed will not get another chance, as
they flouted all previous chances. They will only be raised at the approach of
the Day of
Judgement.
Hazrat Abdullah bin
`Umar (May allah be pleased with them) reported: Messenger of Allah
[SAWW](PBUH) took hold of my shoulders and said, "Be in the world like a
stranger or a wayfarer". Ibn `Umar (May Allah be pleased
with them) used to say: "When you survive till the evening, do not expect to
live until the morning; and when you survive until the morning, do not expect to
live until the evening; (do good deeds) when you are in good health before you
fall sick, and (do good deeds) as long as you are alive before death strikes".
[Al-Bukhari
Book 08, Chapter 76, Hadith #
425].
Lesson : as
mentioned above in Surah Al-Anbiya Ayat 94."whoever does righteous
good deeds while he is a believer" A person who will
consider this world as a temporary stage, will certainly not like that his
clothes be entangled in thorny bushes of this world. The greatest fault of man
is that he does not understand this status of the world. In spite of the fact that he is not sure of a moment's life here, he occupies
himself in amassing goods and riches which would last for a hundred
years.
