[32]. Surah As-Sajdah [The Prostration]: Ayat 13

Ayat 13. And if Allah had willed, surely! Allah would have given every person his guidance, but the Word from Allah took effect (about evildoers), that Allah will fill Hell with jinn and mankind together.

Tafseer of Surah Al Sajdah (The Prostration) Ayat 13. If Allah had so willed, Allah could certainly have brought every soul its true guidance: but the Word from Me will come true, "I will fill Hell with Jinns and men all together." Could evil have been averted? Certainly everything is in Allah's power. If it had been His Will and Plan, He could have created a world in which there would have been no choice or will in any of His creatures. But that was not His Will and Plan. In the world as we see it, man has a certain amount of choice and free will. That being so, He has provided Signs and means of instruction for man, in order that man's will may be straight and pure. A necessary corollary will be Punishment for the infractions of His Law. That Punishment must come to pass, for Allah's Word is true and must be fulfilled Cf. 11:119, and7:18, and see last note. Jinns are the evil spirits that tempt men, and the men who will suffer punishment will be those who have succumbed to their temptations.
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allahimage001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, "The (Hell) Fire is surrounded with all kinds of desires and passions, while Jannah is surrounded with adversities.''  [Muslim Book 40, Chapter 01, Hadith # 6779].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah As-Sajda Ayat 13. “Allah took effect (about evildoers), that Allah will fill Hell with jinn and mankind together” The way to Hell is littered with these evils. When a person crosses them, it is an indication that he has entered into Hell. On the other side exists a series of grief’s and calamities, Islamic injunctions and obligations (the compliance with which is often irksome for man) impede his way to Jannah. When a person endures them with patience he, in fact, overcomes those obstacles and becomes eligible for Jannah.
