৫৬. আমার এবাদত করার জন্যই আমি মানব ও জিন জাতি সৃষ্টি করেছি।
৫৭. আমি তাদের কাছে জীবিকা চাই না এবং এটাও চাই না যে,
তারা আমাকে আহার্য যোগাবে।
৫৮. আল্লাহ তা’আলাই
তো জীবিকাদাতা শক্তির আধার,
পরাক্রান্ত।
Ayat 57. I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures).
Ayat 58. Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong.
Tafseer of Surah Adh-Dhariyat Ayat 56 to 58. I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. Creation is not for idle sport or play: 21:16. Allah has a serious Purpose behind it, which, in our imperfect state, we can only express by saying that each creature is given the chance of development and progress towards the Goal, which is Allah. Allah is the source and center of all power and all goodness, and our progress depends upon our putting ourselves into accord with His Will. This is His service. It is not of any benefit to Him: (see the next two verses)—it is for our own benefit. 57. No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. Sustenance, in both the literal and the figurative sense: so also "Feed Me" at the end of the verse. Allah is independent of all needs. It is therefore absurd to suppose that He should require any Sustenance, and still more absurd to suppose that we can feed Him! The gifts, the Sustenance, the goodness, all come from His side. 58. For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance, - Lord of Power,- Steadfast (forever). Allah commands all power; therefore any power we seek must be from Him. And His power is steadfast, the same today as yesterday, and forever. Therefore His help is always sure.
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah
[SAWW](PBUH)
said, "O people! Allah is Pure and, therefore, accepts only that which
is pure. Allah has commanded the believers as He has commanded His
Messengers by saying: `O Messengers! Eat of the good things, and do good
deeds.' (23:51) And He said: `O you who believe (in the Oneness of
Allah - Islamic Monotheism)! Eat of the lawful things that We have provided you...''' (2:172). Then he 
[SAWW](PBUH)
made a mention of the person who travels for a long period of time, his
hair are disheveled and covered with dust. He lifts his hand towards
the sky and thus makes the supplication: `My Rubb! My Rubb!' But his
food is unlawful, his drink is unlawful, his clothes are unlawful and
his nourishment is unlawful, how can, then his supplication be
accepted?'' [Muslim Hadith # 2214].
Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Adh-Dhariyat Ayat 56. And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone)” This Hadith shows the value of the honest earning, for the grant of prayer, honest earning is essential. Allah accepts charity only if it has been earned in an honest way. Moreover, before any pious action, honest earning for living is essential; otherwise good actions will also go waste.
