[15].Surah Al-Hjir [The Rocky Tract]: Ayat 94-96

Ayat 94. Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikûn (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc.).
Ayat 95. Truly! We will suffice you against the scoffers.
Ayat 96. Who set up along with Allah another ilâh (false god), they will come to know.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) delivered a Khutbah and said, "O people! Hajj (pilgrimage to the House of Allah) has been made incumbent upon you, so perform Hajj.'' A man inquired: "O Messenger of Allah  [SAWW], is it prescribed every year?'' He  [SAWW](PBUH) remained silent till the man repeated it thrice. Then he  [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Had I replied in the affirmative, it would have surely become obligatory, and you would not have been able to fulfill it.'' Afterwards he said, "Do not ask me so long as I do not impose anything upon you, because those who were before you were destroyed on account of their frequent questioning and their disagreement with their Prophets. So when  order you to do something, do it as far as you can; and when I forbid you from doing anything, eschew it.'' [Muslim Book 07, Chapter 71, Hadith # 3095].

1. Hajj is compulsory once in a lifetime for those who have the means for it.
2. Unnecessary questioning is disliked.
3. Those who believe in Allah and His Prophet  [SAWW](PBUH) are required to do what they are ordained and abstain from what they are forbidden.

This Hadith brings out the following points:

[15].Surah Al-Hjir [The Rocky Tract]: Ayat 89-93

Ayat 89. And say: "I am indeed a plain warner."
Ayat 90. As We have sent down on the dividers, (Quraish pagans or Jews and Christians).
Ayat 91. Who have made the Qur'an into parts. (i.e. believed in a part and disbelieved in the other).
Ayat 92. So, by your Lord (O Muhammad  [SAWW](PBUH), We shall certainly call all of them to account.
Ayat 93. For all that they used to do.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Masud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I can still recall as if I am seeing the Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) resembling one of the Prophets whose people scourged him and shed his blood, while he wiped blood from his face, he said: "O Allah! Forgive my people, because they certainly do not know".
[Al-Bukhari, Chapter 84, Hadith # 63].

It mentions the refined character and compassion of the Prophets which has an important lesson for those who preach righteousness. They should be always prepared to face hardships involved in inviting people to the right path and, instead of retaliation, forgive their audience and pray for their guidance. These noble qualities are extremely important for those who are devoted to preach religion.

[15].Surah Al-Hjir [The Rocky Tract]: Ayat 86-88

Ayat 86. Verily, your Lord is the All-Knowing Creator.
Ayat 87. And indeed, We have bestowed upon you seven of Al-Mathâni (the seven repeatedly recited Verses), (i.e. Surat Al-Fâtiha) and the Grand Qur'an .
Ayat 88. Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers).
Hazrat Abu Sa'id Ar-Rafi bin Al-Mu'alla (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Shall I teach you the greatest Surah in the Qur'an before you leave the masjid?'' Then he  [SAWW](PBUH), took me by the hand, and when we were about to step out, I reminded him of his promise to teach me the greatest Surah in the Qur'an. He  [SAWW](PBUH) said, "It is `Alhamdu lillahi Rabbil `Alamin (i.e., Surat Al-Fatihah) which is As-Sab` Al-Mathani (i.e., the seven oft-repeated Ayat) and the Great Qur'an which is given to me.''
[Al-Bukhari Book 06, Chapter 60, Hadith # 170].
This Hadith is an elaboration of the Quranic Ayah quoted above. The Prophet  [SAWW](PBUH) held that As-Sab' Al-Mathani is Surat Al-Fatihah (the Opening Chapter) because these seven Ayat are recited not only in every Salat but in every Rak`ah of every Salat for the reason that no Salat is valid without the recitation of this Surah, as is evident from the saying of the Prophet (PBUH): "The Salat of that person who has not recited Surat Al-Fatihah is void.'' It has also been regarded as the greatest Surah of the Qur'an as it covers all the objects of the Qur'an and is a condensation of all the subjects which have been discussed in detail in its other Surah. It includes the belief in the Tauhid (the belief in the Oneness of Allah)), the worship of Allah, the Day of Resurrection, promise (of Jannah) and warning (against Hell-fire), instances of the pious and impious people of the past communities, and the lessons their conduct has for others. Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi have reported a Hadith in which the Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) said: "Al-hamdu lillahi Rabbil `Alamin (i.e., Surat Al-Fatihah) is Umm-ul-Qur'an that is its origin, basis and essence".

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Hjir Ayat 87. Allah the Almighty says: "And indeed, We have bestowed upon you seven of Al-Mathani (the seven repeatedly recited Ayat), (i.e., Surat Al-Fatihah) and the Grand Qur'an.'' (15:87).
