Ayat
61. Then, when the
Messengers (the angels) came unto the family of Lout (Lot).
Ayat
62. He said: "Verily! You are people unknown to me."
Ayat
63. They said: "Nay, we have come to you with that
(torment) which they have been doubting.
Ayat
64. "And we have brought to you the truth (the news
of the destruction of your nation) and certainly, we tell the truth.
Ayat
65. "Then travel in a part of the night with your
family, and you go behind them in the rear, and let no one amongst you look
back, but go on to where you are ordered."
Hazrat Abu Huraira (May Allah be pleased with them) said: The
Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said
"There will be afflictions (in the near
future) during which a sitting person will be better than a standing one, and
the standing one will be better than the walking one, and the walking one will be better than the running one, and whoever will expose
himself to these afflictions, they will destroy him. So whoever can find a place
of protection or refuge from them, should take shelter in
it."
[Bukhari
Book.09, Chapter 88, Hadith #
202].
Lesson : as
mentioned above in Surah Al- Hjir Ayat 65
and let no one amongst you look back, but go on to where you are
ordered." There would be such disasters and agony
in the world that people will prefer death to life under such conditions. This
situation will arise before the Day of Resurrection, and the Day of Judgment
will dawn on such wicked people.
