Ayat
30. So, the angels prostrated
themselves, all of them together.
Lesson : as
mentioned above in Surah Al- Hjir Ayat
33. "whom You created from sounding clay" The angels are the creation of Allah which He created from
light. Their bodies are so subtle that they can assume any form they like. The
jinn are also an unperceptible creation of Allah. They have also been bestowed
with such powers as are not possessed by humans. Satan also belongs to the jinn.
Man has been created from sounding clay. The Hadith states the Great and the
Perfect Powers of Allah that He can create whatever He likes from whatever He
likes, and He can do whatever He
wishes.
Ayat
31. Except Iblis (Satan), - he
refused to be among the prostrators.
Ayat
32. (Allah) said: "O Iblis
(Satan)! What is your reason for not being among the prostrators?"
Ayat
33. [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I
am not the one to prostrate myself to a human being, whom You created from
sounding clay of altered black smooth mud."
Hazrat Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: The
Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Angels were created from
light, jinns were created from a smokeless flame of fire, and `Adam was created
from that which you have been told (i.e., sounding clay like the clay of
pottery).'' [Muslim Book. 42, Chapter 12, Hadith #
7134].
