[15].Surah Al-Hjir [The Rocky Tract]: Ayat 34-37

Ayat 34. (Allah) said: "Then, get out from here, for verily, you are Rajim (an outcast or a cursed one)."
Ayat 35. "And verily, the curse shall be upon you till the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)."
Ayat 36. [Iblis (Satan)] said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day they (the dead) will be resurrected."
Ayat 37. Allah said: "Then, verily, you are of those reprieved,

Hazrat Suleiman bin Surad (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) when two men began to quarrel and curse each other and the face of one of them turned red and the veins of his neck were swollen (from rage). Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) said, "I know of a word, if he were to utter that, his rage would vanish and that is: A`udhu billahi minash-Shaitan nir-rajim (I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed).'' So they (Companions) said to him: "The Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) tells you to utter: 'I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed". [Al-Bukhariand Muslim].  [Muslim Book.08, Chapter 73, Hadith # 74].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Hjir Ayat 34. "verily, you are Rajim (an outcast or a cursed one)." In the event of rage if a person becomes conscious that what he is feeling is a suggestion from Satan, he should prevent himself from it; this consciousness is the best remedy to overcome the rage. Those who are easily infuriated could make use of this prescription.
