২০৮. আমি কোন জনপদ ধ্বংস করিনি; কিন্তু এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা সতর্ককারী ছিল।
২০৯. স্মরণ করানোর জন্যে, এবং আমার কাজ অন্যায়াচরণ নয়।
Ayat 208. And never did Allah destroy a township, but it had its warners.
Ayat 209. By way of reminder, and
We have never been
unjust.
Tafseer
of Ayat 208 & 209. Never
did We destroy a population, but had its warners - By way of reminder; and We
never are unjust. Allah
will grant much respite to sinners, for He is Most Gracious and Merciful. But
all this respite will profit them nothing if they are merely immersed in the
vanities of this world. Again and again, in spite of their rebellion and their
rejection, does Allah send warnings and warners before the final Punishment of
Justice. For Allah knows human weakness, and He will never be unjust in the
least.
Hazrat Abu Hurairah
(May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah 
[SAWW](PBUH) said, "There will be afflictions (in the near future) during which
a sitting person will be better than a standing one, and the standing one will
be better than the walking one, and the walking one
will be better than the running one, and whoever will expose himself to these
afflictions, they will destroy him. So whoever can find a place of protection or
refuge from them, should take shelter in it."

202].
Lesson : as
mentioned above in Surah Ash-Shuara Ayat 208."Allah destroy a
township, but it had its warners" There would be
such disasters and agony in the world that people will prefer hide in peace to
save there life under such conditions. This situation will arise before the Day
of Resurrection, and the Day of Judgment will dawn on such wicked
people.
