[25].Surah Al-Furqan [The Criterion]: Ayat 11-12

Ayat 11. Nay, they deny the Hour (the Day of Resurrection), and for those who deny the Hour, We have prepared a flaming Fire (i.e. Hell).
Ayat 12. When it (Hell) sees them from a far place, they will hear its raging and its roaring.

[Tafseer] of Ayat 11. Nay they deny the hour (of the judgment to come): but We have prepared a blazing fire for such as deny the hour: Denying the Hour of Judgement means denying the power of Justice and Truth to triumph; it means asserting the dominion of Evil. But the Reality itself will punish them, as shown in the following verses. Tafseer of Ayat 12. When it sees them from a place far off, they will hear its fury and its ranging sigh. For zafir, a deep emission of breath or a sigh, Here the Fire is personified. It is raging with hunger and fury, and as soon as it sees them from ever so far, it emits a sigh of desire. Till then they had not realised their full danger. Now, just as their heart begins to tremble with terror, they are bound together-like with like-and cast into the roaring flames!

Hazrat Ibn Masud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Hell will be brought on that Day (the Day of Resurrection) with seventy bridles; and with every bridle will be seventy thousand angels, pulling it".
[Muslim Book 40, Chapter 12, Hadith # 6810].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Furqan Ayat 12. "When it (Hell) sees them from a far place, they will hear its raging and its roaring". This Hadith deals with the hidden matters relating to the Unseen world. Muslims are ordained by Allah to believe in them. It is wrong to hold them as metaphorical. They are realities but we can not imagine them.

[25].Surah Al-Furqan [The Criterion]: Ayat 10

Ayat 10. Blessed be Allah Who, if Allah will, will assign Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) better than (all) that, - Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise) and will assign you palaces (i.e. in Paradise).

[Tafseer] of Ayat 10. Blessed is Allah Who, if that were Allah will, could give thee better (things) than those,- Gardens beneath which rivers flow; and He could give thee palaces (secure to dwell in). The reminiscent phrase shows that the first argument, about the Revelation and Prophethood, is completed, and we now pass on to the contrast, the fate of the rejecters of both. This phrase is usually symbolical of the Bliss in the Hereafter. If it were Allah's Plan, He could give his Messengers complete felicity and power in this life also. Instead of being persecuted, mocked, driven out of their homes, and having to exert their utmost powers of body, mind, and character to plant the flag of Truth in an unbelieving world, they could have lived in ease and security. But that would not have given the real lessons they came to teach struggling humanity by their example

Hazrat Kaab bin Iyad (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Verily, there is a Fitnah (trial) for every nation and the trial for my nation (or Ummah) is wealth.''  [At-Tirmidhi Hadith # 2336].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Furqan Ayat 10."Blessed be Allah Who, if Allah will, will assign Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) better than (all) that, - Gardens. The word "Fitnah'' means trial. Anything with which a person is tried is a Fitnah for him. For this reason children and property have been regarded Fitnah for mankind in the Noble Qur'an. This Hadith strongly urges the Muslim Ummah to exercise moderation in their love for worldly goods and riches otherwise all these things, which are Gifts of Allah, can become a source of woeful torture for them.

[25].Surah Al-Furqan [The Criterion]: Ayat 8-9

Ayat 8. "Or (why) has not a treasure been granted to him, or why has he not a garden whereof he may eat?" And the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.) say: "You follow none but a man bewitched."
Ayat 9. See how they coin similitude's for you, so they have gone astray, and they cannot find a (Right) Path.

[Tafseer] of Ayat 8. "Or (Why) has not a treasure been bestowed on him, or why has he (not) a garden for enjoyment?" The wicked say: "Ye follow none other than a man bewitched. "Literally, 'that he may eat out of it'. As shown in to surah 5: ayat 66, akala (to eat) has a comprehensive meaning, implying enjoyment of all kinds, physical, social, mental and moral, and spiritual. Here the garden itself stands for a type of the amenities of life: its fruits would be available for eating, its coolness for rest and refreshment, its waters and its landscape for aesthetic delight. Surah 17: Ayat 47. This speech, of the wicked or the ungodly, is meant to be even more bitter than that of the Misbelievers. It makes out the Teacher to be a demented fool. in Tafseer of Ayat 9. See what kinds of comparisons they make for thee! But they have gone astray, and never a way will they be able to find, The charges the enemies made against the Messenger of Allah recoiled on those who made them. The Messenger was vindicated, and went from strength to strength, for Allah's Truth will always prevail. The men who perversely leave the way of truth, righteousness, and sincerity, have not only missed the Way, but on account of their perversity they will never be able to find any way by which they can get back to Truth.

Hazrat Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Allah is Forbearer and He loves forbearance, and rewards for forbearance while He does not reward severity, and does not give for any thing besides it (forbearance).''  [Muslim Book 32, Chapter 21, Hadith # 6273]

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Furqan Ayat 08.And the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.) say: "You follow none but a man bewitched." Mildness is the opposite of harshness. Allah enjoins softness and dislikes stiffness in human relations. Allah assures of reward for gentle behaviour in society, not for unkindness or anything like that. However, inflexibility is preferred to flexibility when there arises a question of religious matters and the limits set by Allah.
