Ayat 11. Nay, they deny the Hour (the Day of
Resurrection), and for those who deny the Hour, We have prepared a flaming Fire
(i.e. Hell).
Ayat 12. When it (Hell) sees them from a far
place, they will hear its raging and its
roaring.
[Tafseer] of Ayat 11. Nay they deny the hour (of the judgment to come): but We have prepared a blazing fire for such as deny the hour: Denying the Hour of Judgement means denying the power of Justice and Truth to triumph; it means asserting the dominion of Evil. But the Reality itself will punish them, as shown in the following verses. Tafseer of Ayat 12. When it sees them from a place far off, they will hear its fury and its ranging sigh. For zafir, a deep emission of breath or a sigh, Here the Fire is personified. It is raging with hunger and fury, and as soon as it sees them from ever so far, it emits a sigh of desire. Till then they had not realised their full danger. Now, just as their heart begins to tremble with terror, they are bound together-like with like-and cast into the roaring flames!
Hazrat Ibn Masud (May Allah be pleased with
him) reported: The Messenger of Allah
[SAWW](PBUH) said, "Hell will be brought on that Day (the Day of
Resurrection) with seventy bridles; and with every bridle will be seventy
thousand angels, pulling it".
[Muslim Book 40, Chapter
12, Hadith # 6810].
Lesson : as
mentioned above in Surah Al-Furqan Ayat 12. "When it (Hell) sees
them from a far place, they will hear its raging and its roaring". This Hadith deals with the hidden
matters relating to the Unseen world. Muslims are ordained by Allah to believe
in them. It is wrong to hold them as metaphorical. They are realities but we can
not imagine
them.
