[25].Surah Al-Furqan [The Criterion]: Ayat 13-14

১৩. যখন এক শিকলে কয়েকজন বাঁধা অবস্থায় জাহান্নামের কোন সংকীর্ণ স্থানে নিক্ষেপ করা হবে, তখন সেখানে তারা মৃত্যুকে ডাকবে।
১৪. বলা হবে, আজ তোমরা এক মৃত্যুকে ডেকো না অনেক মৃত্যুকে ডাক।
  

Ayat 13. And when they shall be thrown into a narrow place (in hellfire) thereof, chained together, they will exclaim therein for destruction.

Ayat 14. Exclaim not today for one destruction, but exclaim for many destructions.

[Tafseer] of Ayat 13. And when they are cast, bound together into a constricted place therein, they will plead for destruction there and then! Anything—total annihilation—would be better than the anguish they will suffer. But no annihilation will be granted to them. One destruction will not be enough to wipe out the intensity of their anguish. They will have to ask for many destructions, but they will not get them! [Tafseer] of Ayat 14. "This day plead not for a single destruction: plead for destruction oft- repeated!"

Hazrat Samurah bin Jundub (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Among the people of Hell are there those who will be emersed in fire to their ankels, some to their knees, some to their waists, and some to their throats".  [Muslim Book 040, Chapter 12, Hadith # 6815].

 
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Furqan Ayat 13."when they shall be thrown into a narrow place (in hellfire) thereof" This Hadith tells us that the inhabitants of Jannah will be classified into different categories and enjoy different kinds of luxuries according to their merits. A similar classification will also be made in the inhabitants of Hell and they will suffer torments according to their misdeeds.
