Ayat 24. Or say they: "He Prophet [SAWW](PBUH) has invented a lie against Allah?" If Allah willed, He could have sealed heart (so that forget all that you know of the Qur'an). And Allah wipes out falsehood, and establishes the truth (Islam) by His Word (this Qur'an). Verily, He knows well what (the secrets) are in the breasts (of mankind).
Tafseer of Surah Al Shura (Consultation) Ayat 24. If
anyone has a doubt about a prophet's mission, let him look at the
prophet's life, at his work, at his character. Allah loves Truth, not
Falsehood. Allah's aid goes with Truth, not with Falsehood. The beauty
and power of Allah's Word cannot be found in Falsehood. The false man's
heart would be sealed, not expanded to new heights, as is that of the
Message-bearer of Allah.
Hazrat Ibn Masood (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH)
said, "Truth leads to piety and piety leads to Jannah. A man persists
in speaking the truth till he is enrolled with Allah as a truthful.
Falsehood leads to vice and vice leads to the Fire (Hell), and a person
persists on telling lies until he is enrolled as a liar".' [Muslim Book 32, Chapter 26, Hadith # 6306].
Lesson: as mentioned above in Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Ash-Shura Ayat 24. Or say they: "He Prophet [SAWW](PBUH) has invented a lie against Allah?" If Allah willed, He could have sealed heart” Siddiq (veracious) and Kadhdhab (liar) both are adjectives of intensive degree. That is to say, the words stand respectively for someone whose truth has become his second nature; and in the opposite case, one is a liar who is in the habit of telling lies. As one acquires a reputation in this world for his good or bad deeds similar is his position before Allah. One who is ranked among the truthful with Him is entitled to reward, and if one is a liar, he has to suffer retribution for it. This Hadith provides incentive for truthfulness because it is a source of every good deed and contains a warning against lying as it gives rise to all kinds of mischief.
