Ayat 27. And if Allah were to enlarge the provision for His servants, they would surely rebel in the earth, but He sends down by measure as He wills. Verily! He is in respect of His slaves, the Well-Aware, the All-Seer (of things that benefit them).
Tafseer of Surah Al Shura (Consultation) Ayat 27. If Allah were to enlarge the provision for His Servants, they would indeed transgress beyond all bounds through the earth; but he sends (it) down in due measure as He pleases. For He is with His Servants Well-acquainted, Watchful. It may be objected that all prayers, even of good people, are not answered. The reply is: (1) that even everyone who is good does not necessarily know what is best for him, for the values in this life are curiously distorted; and (2) on account of their want of knowledge, if everyone got all he asked for, there would be chaos and confusion, and "transgression beyond bounds through the earth", for the different interests are so intermingled and balanced that some measure must be observed in granting people's wishes. This measure is best supplied by the watchful care of Allah and His perfect knowledge of all our real needs. As He pleases is here almost equivalent to as He thinks best.
Hazrat Abu Dharr Jandab bin Junadah (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH)
said, "Allah, the Exalted, and Glorious, said; 'O My slaves, were the
first of you and the last of you, the human of you and jinn of you to be
as pious as the most pious heart of any man of you, that would not
increase My domain a thing. O My slaves, were the first of you, and the
last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as wicked as the
most wicked heart of any man of you, that would not decrease My domain
in a thing.''. [Muslim Book 032, Chapter 13, Hadith # 6246].
Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Ash-Shura Ayat 27.” they would surely rebel in the earth” This Hadith mentions the Power and Majesty of Allah and stresses that one should supplicate Allah for everything that one needs. From guidance to sustenance, the treasures of everything are with Him - the treasures which are unlimited and any withdrawal from them does not make any reduction in them. Similar is the case of His Sovereignty; it is not affected even if the whole universe supports or opposes them. Thus, it is in the interest of man that he should dedicate himself entirely to Allah and beg all his needs from Him and Him Alone.
