Ayat 83. (O Muhammad [SAWW](PBUH), So leave them (the disbelievers alone) to speak nonsense and play until they meet the Day of theirs (Judgment), which they have been promised.
Tafseer of Al Zukhruf (The Gold Adornments) Ayat 83. That Day of theirs: they had their Day on earth; they will have a different sort of Day in the Hereafter, according to the promise of Allah about the Resurrection and Judgment, or perhaps about Retribution in this very life! So leave them to play about with their fancies and vanities. Truth must eventually prevail!
Hazrat Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH)
said, "My parable and that of yours is like a man who kindled a fire.
When it has illuminated all around him, the moths and grasshoppers began
to fall therein. He tried to push them away, but they overcame him and
jumped into it. I am catching hold of your waists ties (to save you)
from fire, but you slip away from my hands". [Muslim Book 030, Chapter 06, Hadith # 5672]
Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Al Zukhruf Ayat 83. (O Muhammad [SAWW](PBUH), So leave them (the disbelievers alone) to speak nonsense and play until they meet the Day of theirs (Judgment)," This Hadith mentions the extreme kindness which the Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) had for the welfare of his followers. It also mentions the misfortune of those who would become the fuel of Hell for not accepting Islam in spite of the utmost affection and ardor of the Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) to bring them in the fold of Islam. People who fail to accept Islam would fall in the Hell-fire in the same way moths fall in the fire.
