[44]. Surah Ad-Dukhan [The Smoke]: Ayat 040-042

Ayat 40. Verily, the Day of Judgment (when Allah will judge between the creatures) is the time appointed for all of them,
Ayat 41. The Day when Maulan (a near relative) cannot avail Maulan (a near relative) in aught, and no help can they receive,
Ayat 42. Except him on whom Allah has Mercy. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

Tafseer of Surah Ad-Dukhan Ayat 40. Verily the Day of sorting out is the time appointed for all of them, - Day of Sorting Out, or the Day of Decision. Cf. 37:21. Ignorance, prejudice, passion, spite, and selfishness, seem sometimes to flourish in this probationary life. In any case they are mixed up with knowledge, justice, common sense, love and regard for others. But the good and the evil will be sorted out and separated at the Day of Judgment There is a time appointed for it. In Allah's good time all will come right. Ayat 41. The Day when no protector can avail his client in aught, and no help can they receive, When that Day comes, the strictest justice will prevail. No man, however prominently he may have walked on the world's stage, can help anodier. He himself will need help, not the sort of logrolling help which high and low render to each other in this life, but which in the conditions of reality will be of no avail. The only things which will help will be the Mercy of Allah. Ayat 42. Except such as receive Allah’s Mercy: for He is Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. Allah's Mercy will be the only thing of any efficacy: for He is both able to help ("Exalted in Might") and willing to forgive ("Most Merciful").

Hazrat Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah cid:image004.gif@01D15212.0A1089C0[SAWW](PBUH) said, "Musa (Moses) (PBUH) asked his Rubb: `Who amongst the inhabitants of Jannah will be the lowest in rank?' He said: `It will be a person who will be admitted into Jannah last of all when all the dwellers of Jannah have entered Jannah. It will be said to him: Enter Jannah. But he will say: O my Rubb! How should I enter while the people have settled in their apartments and taken their shares? It will be said to him: Will you be satisfied and pleased if you have a kingdom like that of a monarch of the world? He will say: I will be content, my Rubb. Allah will say: For you is that, and like that and like that and like that and like that. He will say at the fifth time: I am well-pleased, my Rubb. Allah will say: It is for you and ten times more like it. You will have whatever your soul desires and whatever your eyes could delight in. He will say: I am well-pleased, my Rubb.' Musa (PBUH) said: `Who will be of the highest rank in Jannah.' Allah said: `They are those whom I chose and I established their honor with My Own Hand. I attest with My Seal that they will be blessed with such bounties as no eye has seen, no ear has heard and no human mind has perceived.'''  [Muslim Book 01, chapter 83, Hadith # 363].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Ad-Dukhan Ayat 42. Except him on whom Allah has Mercy" This Hadith highlights Allah's unbounded Mercy and Bounty upon His slaves in Jannah although they do not deserve all that.
