১৮. এই মর্মে যে,
আল্লাহর বান্দাদেরকে আমার কাছে অর্পণ কর।
আমি তোমাদের জন্য প্রেরীত বিশ্বস্ত রসূল।
১৯. আর তোমরা আল্লাহর বিরুদ্ধে ঔদ্ধত্য প্রকাশ করো না।
আমি তোমাদের কাছে প্রকাশ্য প্রমাণ উপস্থিত করছি।
২০. তোমরা যাতে আমাকে প্রস্তরবর্ষণে হত্যা না কর,
তজ্জন্যে আমি আমার পালনকর্তা ও তোমাদের পালনকর্তার শরনাপন্ন হয়েছি।
২১. তোমরা যদি আমার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন না কর,
তবে আমার কাছ থেকে দূরে থাক।
Ayat 18. Saying: "Restore to me the slaves of Allah (i.e. the Children of Israel). Verily! I am to you a Messenger worthy of all trust,
Ayat 19. "And exalt not (yourselves) against Allah. Truly, I have come to you with a manifest authority.
Ayat 20. "And truly, I seek refuge in my Lord and your Lord, lest you stone me (or call me a sorcerer or kill me).
Tafseer of Surah Ad-Dukhan Ayat 18 to 21. The argument of Moses PBUH and his "authority manifest" will be found at 7:104-108, 120-126, 130-137. Notice how fully he assumes the authority of his office here. He claims all "servants of Allah", i.e., true worshippers, as under his protection, for his mission was both to the Egyptians and the Israelites; he asks that they should be restored to him; and he boldly denounces the Pharaoh's arrogance "as against Allah". "Worthy of all trust": Amin, a title that applied to prophets in S. 26, e.g., see 26:107. As the Prophet had historically earned that tide among his own people, the reminiscences of the story of Moses apply to him in his relations with the arrogant Quraysh. 19. "And be not arrogant as against Allah. For I come to you with authority manifest. 20. It is no use their plotting his death or his vilification; for his safety is in Allah. As he truly says, "Allah is not only my Lord, but your Lord also; your responsibility arises apart from my preaching, but I preach in order to remind you of it." "Injuring me": literally "stoning me". "Stoning may be here symbolical of any injury or vilification. 21. "If ye believe me not, at least keep yourselves away from me." If you do not believe me, at least go your ways; do not add to your sins by trying to suppress me and the Message of Truth which I bring: keep out of my way.
Hazrat Salamah bin Al-Akwa` (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah 
[SAWW](PBUH)
said, "Man continues to display haughtiness and arrogance until he is
recorded among the arrogant and will be therefore afflicted with what
afflicts them.'' [At-Tirmidhi Hadith # 2000].
Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Ad-Dukhan Ayat 19. "And exalt not (yourselves) against Allah” To adopt the habits and manners of good people is deemed to be desirable. But, on the contrary, to take to the bad ways of bad people is considered undesirable. A man will ultimately be counted among those people whom he will take as a model to emulate, because he is gradually fitted into their framework and assimilates all of their qualities. Quite naturally then retribution will be administered to him accordingly.
