[47] Surah Muhammad: Ayat 001

১. যারা কুফরী করে এবং আল্লাহর পথে বাধা সৃষ্টি করে, আল্লাহ তাদের সকল কর্ম ব্যর্থ করে দেন

Ayat 1. Those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allah, and in the Message of Prophet Muhammad image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH), and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah (Islamic Monotheism), He will render their deeds vain.

Tafseer of Surah Muhammad image001.jpg Peace be upon him] 1. Those who reject Allah and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah, their deeds will Allah render astray (from their mark). Whatever they do will miss its mark, because Allah is the source of all energy and life. If the wicked try to persecute men or seduce them from the Truth, the result will be the opposite of what they intend.

Hazrat Anas bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet cid:image004.gif@01D18856.9329F320 [SAWW](PBUH) said, "There are three qualities whoever has them, will taste the sweetness of Iman: To love Allah and His Messenger cid:image004.gif@01D18856.9329F320 [SAWW](PBUH) more than anyone else; to love a slave (of Allah) only for (the sake of) Allah; and to abhor returning to infidelity after Allah has saved him from it as he would abhor to be thrown into the fire (of Hell)". [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Al-Ahqaf Ayat 01. “Hinder (men) from the Path of Allah (Islamic Monotheism), He will render their deeds vain” In this Hadith, the love of Allah signifies the sweetness of Iman. The love of Allah and His Prophet cid:image004.gif@01D18856.9329F320 [SAWW](PBUH) is the cornerstone of the Faith. When it is said that this love should exceed one's love for everything else in the universe, it means that what is enjoined by Allah and His Prophet cid:image004.gif@01D18856.9329F320 [SAWW](PBUH) must be given preference over everything else, whether it is love for the wife, children, worldly interests, desires or whims. When there is a clash between the two, the former should be given preference over the latter.
