[47] Surah Muhammad: Ayat 019

১৯. জেনে রাখুন, আল্লাহ ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য নেই।  ক্ষমাপ্রার্থনা করুন, আপনার ক্রটির জন্যে এবং মুমিন পুরুষ ও নারীদের জন্যে। আল্লাহ, তোমাদের গতিবিধি ও অবস্থান সম্পর্কে জ্ঞাত।

Ayat 19. So know (O Muhammad  [SAWW](PBUH) that La ilaha ill-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah), and ask forgiveness for your sin, and also for (the sin of) believing men and believing women. And Allah knows well your moving about, and your place of rest (in your homes).

Tafseer of Surah Muhammad  Peace be upon him] Ayat 19. Know, therefore, that there is no god but Allah, and ask forgiveness for thy fault, and for the men and women who believe: for Allah knows how ye move about and how ye dwell in your homes. Cf. 40:55. The time and manner of our conducting ourselves at home and when we move about on our business are all material to the judgment of our conduct, and for every nuance in our moral and spiritual progress, we must seek Allah's help and guidance. 

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) reported I heard : The Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) saying: "By Allah, I seek Allah's forgiveness and repent to Him more than seventy times a day.'' [Al-Bukhari Book 08, Chapter 75, Hadith # 319]

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Muhammad  Peace be upon him] Ayat 19. “Ask forgiveness for your sin, and also for (the sin of) believing men and believing women”. 1. It is an inducement for seeking pardon and forgiveness. The Prophet  [SAWW](PBUH), whose past and future sins were forgiven, asked Allah's forgiveness - then how about us, who commit sins on regular basis, not to seek pardon and forgiveness from Allah?
