২. আর যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে,
সৎকর্ম
সম্পাদন করে এবং তাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে মুহাম্মদের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ
সত্যে বিশ্বাস করে, আল্লাহ তাদের মন্দ
কর্মসমূহ মার্জনা করেন এবং তাদের অবস্থা ভাল করে দেন।
Ayat 2. But those who believe and do righteous good deeds, and believe in that which is sent down to Muhammad (
[SAWW](PBUH), for it is the truth from their Lord, He will expiate from them their sins, and will make good their state.
Tafseer of Surah Muhammad 
Peace be upon him] Ayat 2. But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and believe in the (Revelation) sent down to Muhammad 
Peace be upon him for it is the Truth from their Lord, He will remove from them their ills and improve their condition.
BAL means state or condition, whether external, or of the heart and
mind. Both meanings apply here. The more the wicked rage, the better
will be the position of the righteous, and Allah will make it easier and
easier for the righteous to love and follow the Truth.
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah
[SAWW](PBUH) used
to say: "Allahumm-aslih li diniyalladhi huwa `ismatu amri, wa aslih li
dunyaya-llati fiha ma`ashi, wa aslih li akhirati-llati fiha ma`adi,
waj`alil-hayata ziyadatan li fi kulli khair, waj`alil-mauta rahatan li
min kulli sharrin (O Allah, make my religion easy for me by virtue of
which my affairs are protected, set right for me my world where my life
exists, make good for me my Hereafter which is my resort to which I have
to return, and make my life prone to perform all types of good, and
make death a comfort for me from every evil).'' [Muslim Book 35, Chapter 17, Hadith # 6565]
