[18].Surah Al-Kahf [The Cave]: Ayat 100-102

Ayat 100. And on that Day We shall present Hell to the disbelievers, plain to view,
Ayat 101. (To) Those whose eyes had been under a covering from My Reminder (this Qur'an), and who could not bear to hear (it).
Ayat 102. Do then those who disbelieve think that they can take My slaves [i.e., the angels, Allah's Messengers, 'Iesâ (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), etc.] as Auliya' (lords, gods, protectors, etc.) besides Me? Verily, We have prepared Hell as an entertainment for the disbelievers (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism).
[Tafseer] If men had scoffed at Faith and the Hereafter, their eyes will be opened now, and they will see the terrible Reality. Those very men who refused to see the many Signs of Allah which in this world convey His Message and to hear the Word of the Lord when it came to them, will then see without any mistake the consequences fully brought up before them.
Hazrat Usamah bin Zaid (May Allah bepleased with them) reported: Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "A man will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and will be cast into Hell, and his intestines will pour forth and he will go round them as a donkey goes round a millstone. The inmates of Hell will gather round him and say: `What has happened to you, O so-and-so? Were you not enjoining us to do good and forbidding us to do evil?' He will reply: `I was enjoining you to do good, but was not doing it myself; and I was forbidding you to do evil, but was doing it myself". [Al-Bukhari Book 04, Chapter 54, Hadith # 489].
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Kahf Ayat 101. "Those whose eyes had been under a covering from My Reminder (this Qur'an)", This Hadith serves a stern warning for such `Ulama', preachers and reformers of the Ummah whose own conduct is contrary to the sermons they give from the pulpit.
