Ayat 52. And Allah inspired Musa (Moses), saying:
"Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued."
Ayat 53. Then
Firaun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities.
Ayat 54.
(Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band.
Ayat 55. "And
verily, they have done what has enraged us;
Ayat 56. "But
we are host all assembled, amply fore-warned."
Ayat 57.
So, Allah expelled them from gardens and springs,
Ayat 58.
Treasures, and every kind of honorable place.
Tafseer
of Ayat 52 to 58. By
inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye
shall be pursued." The rest
of the story-of the plagues of Egypt -is passed over as not germane to the
present argument. We come now to the story of the Israelites leaving Egypt,
pursued by Pharaoh. Here again there are three contrasts; (1) the blind
arrogance of the Egyptians, against the development of Allah's Plan; (2) the
Faith of Moses, against the fears of his people: and (3) the final deliverance
of the seed of righteousness, against the destruction of the host of brute
force. Then
Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but
a small band, "And they are raging furiously against us; "But we are a multitude
amply fore-warned." So Allah expelled them from gardens, springs, The
Children of Israel certainly inherited the gardens, springs, treasures, and
honorable positions in Palestine after many years' wanderings in the wilderness.
But when they were false to Allah, they lost them again, and another people (the
Muslims) inherited them when they were true in Faith. These latter not only
inherited Palestine but also Egypt , and the old Pharaonic power and
institutions were lost forever, Of such things: literally, "of them".
Treasures,
and every kind of honorable
position;
Hazrat Abdullah bin Ash-Shikhkhir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I
came to the Messenger of Allah
[SAWW](PBUH) while he was reciting (Surat At-Takathur 102): "The mutual rivalry
(for hoarding worldly things) preoccupy you. Until you visit the graves (i.e.,
till you die). (102:1-8) (After reciting) he (PBUH) said, "Son of Adam says: `My
wealth, my wealth.' Do you own of your wealth other than what you eat and
consume, and what you wear and wear out, or what you give in Sadaqah (charity)
(to those who deserve it), and that what you will have in stock for
yourself.''
[Muslim Book 01, Chapter 42,
Hadith # 7061].
Lesson : as
mentioned above in Surah Ash-Shuara
57 "'So Allah expelled them
from gardens & Springs and as in Ayat 58 Tresures, and every kind of
honorable place. This Hadith enjoins if a person
given wealth, he or she should spend it in way liked by Allah because it is this
Sadaqah which will be a valuable treasure in the Afterlife. Whatever else he or
she consumes in this world, will finish or rot in this world and will be of no
avail in
Hereafter.
