২৭. আমি তোমাদের আশপাশের জনপদ সমূহ ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি এবং বার বার আয়াতসমূহ শুনিয়েছি,
যাতে তারা ফিরে আসে।
Ayat 27. And indeed We have destroyed towns (populations) round about you, and We have (repeatedly) shown (them) the Ayat (proofs,
evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) in various ways
that they might return (to the truth and believe in the Oneness of Allah
- Islamic Monotheism).
Tafseer of Surah Al-Ahqaf Ayat 27. We destroyed aforetime populations round about you; and We have shown the Signs in various ways, that they may turn (to Us). In Arabian history and tradition alone, to say nothing of Allah's Signs elsewhere, sin inevitably suffered its Punishment, and in various ways. Would not the later people take warning?
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah 
[SAWW](PBUH)
said, "Allah, the Exalted, becomes angry, and His Anger is provoked
when a person does what Allah has declared unlawful.'' [Al-Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Hadith # 150]
Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Al-Ahqaf Ayat 27. And indeed We have destroyed towns (populations) round about you” This Hadith warns us against committing sins and all that Allah has forbidden in order to avoid exciting the anger of Allah.
