[50] Surah Qaf [Qaf]: Ayat 028-029

২৮. আল্লাহ বলবেনঃ আমার সামনে বাকবিতন্ডা করো না আমি তো পূর্বেই তোমাদেরকে আযাব দ্বারা ভয় প্রদর্শন করেছিলাম
২৯. আমার কাছে কথা রদবদল হয় না এবং আমি বান্দাদের প্রতি জুলুমকারী নই

Ayat 28. Allah will say: "Dispute not in front of Me, I had already, in advance, sent you the threat.
Ayat 29. The Sentence that comes from Me cannot be changed, and I am not unjust (to the least) to the slaves."

Tafseer of Surah Qaf Ayat 28 to 29. He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning. It is suggested that sinners whose Record is black, driven into a corner, accuse others of misleading them: the others may be Recorders, or their faculties or opportunities or surroundings or their associates in the world, or anything but themselves. Such recriminations are not allowed in the Court of Judgment. Besides, personal responsibility had already been clearly preached to them in Allah's Message, and they had been warned of the consequences. 'You" is in the plural number 'all of you who are before the Judgment Seat had clear warning of the consequences of your conduct.' 29. "The Word changes not before Me, and I do not the least injustice to My Servants. ’Abd has two plurals: (1) 'Abid, as here, means all Servants of Allah, i.e., all his creatures; (2) Ibad has the further connotation of Servants of Allah, devoted to his service; I have translated it in many cases by the word "devotees". The Sentence before the Judgment Seat is pronounced with perfect justice: it does not change, and requires no change; the inevitable consequences of sin must follow; the time for Mercy is past.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allahimage001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said,  "If any one of you forgetfully eats or drinks (while observing fasting) he should complete his Saum (fasting), for Allah has fed him and given him to drink.''
[Al-Bukhari Book 03, Chapter 31, Hadith # 154].

Lesson: This Hadith tells us of a kindness and convenience of Islam that during the Saum if a person inadvertently does any such thing which destroys his Saum, i.e., eating, drinking, cohabitation with wife, etc., his Saum will remain intact due to forgetfulness, provided one abandons the act as soon as he remembers that he is observing Saum. He needs not make any expiation for such a Saum.
